Don't do it. We've stayed here in the past and it was decently priced and clean. Today we check out and happy to do so. The bed had two mattress instead of box spring so it sunk to the floor. We had to drag the mattress to the living room and sleep on the floor. There's no toilette paper or any necessities a cabin normally offer. For $165 a night we deserved a much better stay. We told him we had to sleep on the floor and he couldn't have cared less. Save your money and get an airbnb.

I felt that the owner was very worried about social gatherings from the longer term renters and myself due to the very very polite customers/ renters of the establishment at this particular stay for me. I first was asked what where I came there for the weekend as if my circumstances were of any of his concern unless the prior arrangement or circumstances were given upon reservation. He is to follow certain rules and guidelines as well to keep his contracts thru the state and Local governments accounts. That assures the establishments vacancy ratio on the off seasons that are very long and only weekend events every 2-5 weeks to count as income let alone any type of security. I was basically interviewed about whether or not I wanted any of the 4-7 people over by my room or in and was saying no for me. He also asked if if was Dirty? Then added like person how u live. I had only passed by saying hellos to all and maybe a welcome here from another . I've never been here prior or any other local county motels so his assumptions of prior not to his liking renters gathering and living the best life they can with what they have to do it with. He even cane to my car after I moved to my room and asked out loud for one nice woman to hear and then told her. So apparently its like he expects nobody to speak while outside 2 ft away smoking next to the other ones ever. And definitely Don t go knock on another door asking for a plastic spoon or fork. I used my fingers to eat a chk broc meal sauce micro meal due to the white trash profiling he was doing.. Not exaggerating either. These are facts.Rooms: If your own bedding is an option id say go ahead and use it. My toliet was gross but it may have been black coffee dumped and splashed to the back of the inside bowl. Hand towel was used and had dirt on it. One towel and washcloth and the now floor mat hand towel is all I had in my room . everything felt greasy and like a sticky film was covering all the surfaces the hand or feet or body touch. They have the means to clean better and make the room more attractive just by that alone but to add one more set if towels maybe to go with the other queen bed in the double room garbage cans wouldve been nice. Two soap bars and two plastic cups as per code makes them have. If you have 20 minutes and ,15-20 bucks more then go either direction from this place if your standards and circumstances are far more important then potential infestation or bacterial infections or worse. Dont bring small crawling babies if u dont bring wipes amd lysol. That's not saying they are trash. They can just do better. Shame on them

I'm not sure why there are so many 5 star reviews, but please be warned! Our stay at this motel was awful. When we arrived, we were shown to our room and it was very dirty. The sheets were damp and the bedding was stained plus there was hair on all of the bedding. The toilet was not cleaned and there was an awful, musty scent in the room. For $100 dollars, this motel is not worth it at all. We left feeling dirty and sick and would never recommend or stay here ever again. I would have given zero stars if possible.Safety: This is not a safe place to stay. There were a few people who looked homeless outside and I was wondering if we were given a room that someone was in previously because it was so dirty.

There's no privacy and the rules are too strict. You feel like you're in the middle of nowhere and you can't even visit each other! You can't even have visitors! It's crazy!Rooms: There's lots of rooms and no privacy

Rooms and cottages are well kept and close to the launches. Only issue seems to be the owners confusion of when we called to make reservations, and upon arrival not knowing we HAD reservations! They had to scramble to ready rooms for the 7 of us. Other than that it's a very nice place to stay.

Room was good. Had a kitchenette. It was clean and the bed was fine. Had a little portable heater in the room. The manager controls the main heat. I was worried at first but the first night it dipped down to 23 degrees and even with the little heater I woke up sweating so it was fine.Only complaint is the price. 99 a night? Simple roadside motel with a portable heater. This was easily a 50 dollar a night motel. But as with every motel I looked at in the area, they are all over priced.Food & drinks: 20 mins to Ogdensburg. Closest I seen. Except for a gas station and a dollar store within 5 min.
