i have been trying for months to get my new puppy in and they said the one vet has been on vacation and still is… i live in voorheesville and think its ridiculous i have to take my puppy elsewhere because they refuse to even schedule her

We love Village Animal Clinic! They are always accommodating with anything we need or request. Wonderful to our pups and all of the staff is friendly, helpful and kind. We see Dr Goodfellow and she treats our pets wonderfully. She is clear in answering questions/concerns and is so thorough with her exams. All of the staff from the front desk and vet techs are always happy and friendly. We’ve never had to wait very long for our appts. It usually runs timely.

The Village Animal Clinic is simply the best vet in the capital region - especially for exotics. After having a bad experience at another vet office, I went to Village and now I will never go anywhere else with my animals. I trust them 100% with both our birds and pet rats.
In particular Doctor LaVarnway has been great! We have a 27-year-old jenday conure who has seen multiple vets. It wasn't until Doctor LaVarnway that a clavicle injury he sustained in a previous home was caught.
I have a great deal of experience with birds, and yet I did not notice this. Neither did any of the vets he's seen previously. While it is an old injury that's already healed so there isn't more that can be done for it, I really appreciate that we know about it now and that it's something we can keep an eye on. And we would not have known without Village Animal Clinic and Doctor LaVarnway!
Every single vet we've interacted with has been fantastic. Plus all the staff is incredibly kind. I can't recommend this clinic enough!

I found an injured bunny outside my job and was referred here by a DEC rehabber to try and help it. I did have to call beforehand to check that they could take the bunny, but luckily they were able to and were very kind throughout the process. Truly appreciate what they did today.
