“Today was my second time visiting Gabriel's and again they did not disappoint. The meat is high quality and so reasonably priced that you feel like you are robbing them. The store is very clean, you can tell they pay attention to detail here and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The lady that rang us up on our first visit actually recognized us and was asking about the meatloaf I had made and how it turned out. The first time we visited I saw they had a meatloaf mix of beef, pork, and veal so I was super excited to make a meatloaf and she remembered and asked how it turned out and how the kids liked it. They have so many great products, they have a cabinet full of fresh buns and rolls right by the deli counter in back that I would recommend everyone trys. The deli meats are out of this world and priced reasonably. Their, hamburger meat, chicken, pork, steaks, roasts, all of the good stuff is all fresh and again the prices can't be beat. I highly recommend this supermarket to all. You get high quality meats at a fantastic price and the staff are so warm and inviting that you feel right at home the moment you walk in.”

“Just recently started visiting this very unique market. I feel like I will go no place else for my produce but here all you need to do is visit once and you will be stunned. If you know what prices should be in a grocery store then you will think that there is a mistake my boys all are on such a healthy kick right now that I’m having to buy tons of fruits and vegetables and not only are they the lowest prices they’re the freshest best tasting I love it here!!! there’s locations all over. I also go to the one on Central Avenue when I leave work in the afternoon. Keep it up Aldi !!! “This was my first time here. The staff are friendly. The produce is the best I have found in the area so far as far as traditional grocery stores go. Will come back again.
Edit: after coming back here I do find their bread and bagel options lacking, unless you're willing to spend for the premium options they have. Also, some deli meats are tastier than others.”

They could improve on some packing issues with cold cuts and in-store breads.

“I live within walking distance of the Glenmont Price Chopper. It would be convenient if not for the stressful and disappointing shopping experience I consistently experience there. I find myself mentally preparing to coddle the deli staff to please cut cold cuts thin or to ask the meat department staff if they have something that I am looking for that doesn’t have a use by date that is the same as the day I am buying it. They make it clear that they are put out by anything that isn’t grab and go. The only exception is the produce staff. They have always been great but the quality of the produce is usually pretty poor.
The Delmar Hannaford experience is a luxury. Fresh meat and vegetables, personable, helpful staff and the deli counter is amazing!!! No 10-20 minute waits as the only customer at the PC counter while the employee moves at a pace that could only be intended to discourage you from asking for an additional thing. Every single time Hannaford’s staff is friendly, accommodating and professional. Hannaford does it right and their employees are always a pleasure!”

“I do most of my shopping elsewhere, but there are a few things that Whole Foods have that no one else in the area carries. Also, they have a great selection of fresh fruit that can't be beat. Have started getting meat from the deli as they have kids of tasty options that don't require any prep, which makes life easier. “First, let me say this searching for sale items on Saturday is fun. My husband's at work, and I don't have anything to do so I wanted to try this. I went to a Dollar General that was a little way out; the drive. I used the app for the first time which tells me what items are in stock. To my surprise though there were a lot of people in the store looking for the deals. Ran into this ridiculous a** Karen who later heard me listening to an IG video publicizing the sale and wanted to talk. I'm in line checking out and she's like oh where did you find this... Chick, please. The cashier said they prepare on Fridays for the sale and make sure things are in their place. I found that many items were hidden and/or out of place. All were in stock. Nevertheless, I believe this hack would have worked for me. Except I couldn't help with picking up other items on sale. I don't think I'll come back to this location to shop. Just because outside of Karen, there were some pretty aggressive other shoppers also looking for Saturday sales. That's nothing against the staff who were very friendly and helpful. But I prefer to shop with people who have manners. I added a video here of me trying to use a brown stick to get a power wash that was on sale but hidden on top shelf behind Palm Olive.”
“A friend turned me on to Pede Bros large round cheese ravioli. What a treat! The pasta has a fresh made texture and taste. Thete is an abundant amount of cheese filling in each ravioli. Only problem is finding them in AZ and CA.”

“This is a nice supermarket. It has mainly everything I need. I am so grateful to have both the Guilderland and Voorheesville location close by to my house.
My only complaint that I have is I wish the bakery had more to offer and I noticed the bakery there doesn't even have a counter.
I was even surprised to see a lobster tank there too. Staff there are great and very helpful.”
