“I recently went to Dimitrios Furs to see what I could do with two of my mother’s fur coats. My mother recently passed and I wanted to keep the coats but they were much too small for me to wear.I was greeted immediately by Dimitrios and explained my situation. He understood how important the coats were to me and suggested I could have them redesigned, to make them more modern and suited to my personal taste. After hours of looking at all his designs and trying on different styles, Dimitrios came up with a design for a coat and a vest. He was extremely patient with me and helped me select complimentary fur touches to add on to both the coat and vest.I was nervous but he assured me they would be beautiful. He called me in for a fitting and I was very surprised how gorgeous the pieces were. He added special personalized touches (deep pockets, extra pocket for my insulin pump, two sets of hook closures) to make the coat and vest a true custom design. Dimitrios and Nick also made me a custom set of earmuffs to match my vest and coat with the remaining fur while I waited!The skill sets of both Dimitrios and Nick are unparalleled. I can’t not express how pleased I am to be able to wear my deceased mother’s coats in a way that captures my style and her personality.Thank you Dimitrios and Nick.”
“What does this store NOT have??? I've been trying to be more sustainable and decided to visit the shop when I moved into my new apartment. I was clueless where to begin, but the staff was friendly and helpful. They guided me in the right direction, and I left with a bunch of awesome sustainable swaps. “OMG I haven't been to this store since I was in highschool! My mom and I went to get my nephew some five nights at Freddy's merchandise for Christmas and we ended up leaving with more stuff for myself! They have such a cute selection of little keychains and pins. I fell in love with this bubble tea keychain with a cat head on top of the cup. Being a huge cat lover they had lots of cat knick-knacks. Definitely changed since I was a teenager but for the better!”

“I'm happy to report that I feel largely the same way as I did nine years ago. Since that time paper doll vintage has been voted best of Long Island I can't tell you how many times. We went in there for my daughter's 13th birthday to pick up some vintage butterfly clips and vintage inspired shades. Of course since I'm plus size in the store now has a legitimate true vintage plus size section I was rifling through all of the things I really wanted. I'm attending a wedding next week with a vintage 1960s sequin dress that I got there over seven years ago. Anytime I need something special that's where I go. The store is so well coordinated by era and type of garment or accessory. Stop by!”

“The quality of clothing is really exceptional and hard to find these days in a boutique. Prices reflect that. Options lean a bit trendy, so it is harder to find classic wardrobe pieces, making selections more dependent on seasonal styles. Clothing trends on the flirtier side being quite feminine. Not a place for sportier or classier business and evening looks but has a large variety of different pieces within it's niche. Worth a visit.”
