Didn't even get through the phone call with this place and I can tell you you can find better Vets than this..I called looking for a new vet for my two dogs, the receptionist answering the phone was more interested in telling me how much $$ it was going to cost me for the initial visit and how badly they were booked up than she was interested in what kind of care my dogs needed. Like she didn't even ask. And when I mentioned that one of them could be a semi-emergency, she still didn't even ask. Just gave me the "well maybe we can make an exception"

Dr. Jakimer has held my heart in his hands through the loss of 2 wonderful dogs and a very dear cat. He is so compassionate and I trust his judgement 100%. I am so thankful to him for giving me realistic odds and advice, so that I didn't let my emotions lead to my beloved pets suffering. What a terribly hard job he has, that he does with grace, integrity and love. Definitely a quality vet. We are lucky to have him.

Beware of these awful disgusting front desk workers!! I had my kitten get her first rounds of shots here- I had to call/email asking for my kitten's records 5+ times. When they finally sent the records, it was a chart for a dog and it had it marked as if my kitten received dog shots. I asked them for the updated info and they wouldn't send it. Thanks for having me waste $600, my kitten had to be revaxed because you couldn't provide the records!!! Then this morning, months later, I call because it seems my kitten may have a UTI, and they will not answer the phone thought they are open. I think they actually started declining my calls, because now it goes straight to their "we're closed" message. You put my cat's health at risk and I will NEVER be back. Note to management- Find front desk workers with an IQ above 50.

You know how when you select a hospital for your family, you want it to be accredited/meeting certain criteria? Well, this hospital MANOR VETERINARY CLINIC IS NOT ACCREDITED. You will see a logo AAHA on doors of vet hospitals. That is the American Animal Hospital Association and you can check on the website to see if a vet hospital is accredited (Manor is NOT). It makes me wonder why a hospital with a doctor who has worked for so many years does not have his hospital accredited. Sorry, I don't pick vets by how nice they are (which seems to be the theme in a lot of the positive reviews). Other thing that is concerning is there is only one vet? I like hospitals with multiple vets as they can bounce ideas off of each other and there is no issue with a vet not being available. Veterinary medicine is constantly changing with technology-this vet went to school over 45 years ago. Please folks- get the best for your pet - not who is nice. You can go to an accredited hospital to ensure certain criteria are met by that process, in a hospital with more than one vet and still get nice treatment. I also saw some of the cost figures cited-amazing that these are costs from a hospital that is not accredited.

Best vet ever. I trust Dr. Jakimer with my cats. I have been going here for years and my cats love the doctor. Doctor is always so kind to me and the cats. He waits for the cats to feel comfortable. I even think one of my cats enjoy going there to get all the attention.... (she doesn't even notice that she's getting vaccinated)

We've been very happy with Dr. Jakimer. He's professional, straightforward, down-to-earth, and reassuring. I like the way he handles animals - neither too aloof nor too sentimental. The office is well-organized and professional. It can seem difficult sometimes to reach someone by phone, but when you do, they're invariably pleasant and helpful, if sometimes a little vague-seeming. Really more of a 4.5 star than a 4 star. We're glad he's our dog's vet. Recommended
