The staff was shockingly unfriendly. I just wanted pricing on cedar stock and the guy behind the counter made me feel like he would rather I were dead than ask him a question.I’m actually mad right now at how rude the guy was.

Unfriendly staff.I said hello when I walked in and most just stared at me.3 to 4 employees standing around the front door and desk doing absolutely nothing. Asked if they had live edge wood in a round shape.I got a flat No answer.They didn't offer any suggestions on where I could go.And they seemed disinterested.I will never return. I felt unwelcomed the few seconds I was there. I do not recommend. I was there 11/17/2023 @ 4:50pm

Customer service and follow through is terrible here. When you call them for a quote or to place an order, they take a message and NEVER call you back. They must not even care about units, sales, or GP. If you're the DM for Victor or part of 84 Lumber leadership, you really should investigate this poorly run location and turn things around...

I recently had my mother deal with the Victor, NY store on my behalf. As the owner of 3 companies, I was running low on time and needed quotes for a massive order ASAP.After finding out how my mother was spoken to, I will never do business with this store.We had a fully sponsored, cash in hand, no pinching pennies,c order ready to go - and you lost it to another company due to your arrogant employee who couldn't be bothered to treat my mother with an ounce of respect. It's an extremely good thing I wasn't actually there to witness this or it would have been handled in person immediately.

Went to get a bunch of lumber for a picnic table. I paid for the lumber and went to get it. After searching through about 50 2x10’s, I found 2 that weren’t cut from the absolute edge of a tree. 99% of the lumber has rounded edges or was damaged. The selection was absolutely horrible. In a stunning bit of irony, when I was doing the return, I read the 84 lumber mission statement... “supplying our customers with the best quality products...” I will not waste my time there again.

Ordered a custom door over the phone. Seemed like a good price but at no point did they mention the finish. Was expecting unfinished and they gave a primed door to me. On top if that the prime job was sloppy and got on the windows too. Not to mention I was never called when they had the door to set the delivery up. I had to call them to set it up. They did offer a refund though but at this point after waiting over 2 weeks I'm just going to make it work and never order for 84 lumber again
