I want to give a shout out to Metro Mattress, and particularly to Max, the salesman I worked with (and I think that he's the manager?). He worked with me to find a great bed on which I'm sleeping comfortably. But he really came through when I had an issue with some sheets I bought there--even though the problem was not Metro Mattress' fault.
What happened was this: I bought a set of sheets, and they were delivered with my bed. But somehow, they'd gotten dirty before I opened them. Max directed me to the company, which mailed a replacement. Somehow, those were dirty too. I'm guessing this was an unfortunate coincidence. But this time, when I contacted the company (BedGear, not Metro Mattress) they made things more difficult, saying that I would have to mail the old sheets back *and cover the cost of shipping myself.*
That seemed messed up. And I contacted Max. He went up the chain of command at Metro Mattress, and ultimately told me that they would provide me with a new set of sheets, at no extra cost. He could have easily said that this was an issue between me and BedGear, and shrugged it off. But he took the time to help me out, and I really appreciate it.
The new sheets, by the way, were fine.
