“Gas always seems to be the least expensive in the area. Large convenience store (much larger than any others closeby) with good prices (more like supermarket than convenience/gas station) and courteous staff. The food is excellent-they have a deli and a wide variety of food. Deli and entire store are very clean and well maintained. There are several places that prepare deli food I won't eat because they aren't clean-this place is clean and food is good. Also, not overcrowded with big trucks and good amount of parking places. No problem accessing gas pumps. They also belong to Gas Buddy so you can save even more money if you get the app.”

“As much as the sandwiches have been great, large and great for the price point- sometimes the deli staff does not listen to what you actually want on your sandwich. I’m a regular and my sandwich is a staple, However lately the deli staff had been putting bleu cheese and cheddar on my sandwich- both of which I despise! I ask for only specific ingredients and the last 4-6 times my sandwich has not been what I asked for. Also- today i was wondering why my soda tasted off- well it expired in February of 2022. Top two deli on in the area- better step up your game.”

“This is out go to Pitstop. Employees are always friendly. We’ve been stopping here for quite sometime. However the last few times we’ve stopped the bathrooms weren’t as clean as they have been in the past. We stop here early in the morning so it seems as if they aren’t cleaned the night before. Even though, we will continue to stop here. Hopefully things will change for the better. ??”

“Great place to stop as you make your way along the taconic State parkway. Restrooms are available along with gas and a very nice convenience store. At times bathroom could be cleaner but an incredibly convenient place to stop while on a road trip along this parkway.”

“This is a very good gas station. The service and the personnel are excellent. I'd gone to a Valero station in Poughkeepsie where the staff was exceptionally unhelpful so I came to this one and people were amazingly helpful. Really appreciate it. Highly recommend them also looks like they have good food even though I didn't try any.”

“Affordable and considerate staff. Customers generally kind. Clean and well-organized, with all gas pumps in good repair during this review. Foodstuffs look very fresh. Two driveway entrances and exits, which decongests traffic in-bound and out-bound. Computerized air-pump which monitors the PSI in one's tires.”

“Clean bathroom. They let me use it so we gassed up here. I now check first so I don’t reward these “out of order” gas stations with my businessNice and cleanThank you”

“I come to this place because the lady that works weekdays until 1 or 2 is very good at her job and provides service that you cannot get anywhere else. She is pleasant, helpful and truly cares that you get what you need quick and go on your way happy. A long distance lotto customer wont bring her line to a halt. When she is working you never waste your time trying to explain which particular item you need behind the counter. Its like she can read your mind and remembers forever. If time is money she deserves a raise.I also come for the acme rewards and capital one gas discounts. Thank you for being one of those well kept secret options on the backside of Hopewell when you can't handle the stress of going to Stewart's. Thank you for keeping the bathroom clean and the freezers extra cold. Looking forward to my next trip back to Swartz Mart! Check them out!PS. Please fix the vacuum outside. It's been unusable for 6 months.”

“I live over an hour from here, yet whenever we're anywhere near Rennie's, we always find an excuse to visit! Very, very friendly, attentive employees, delicious food & rustic atmosphere...a "Must Stop"!!!”

“You got to love free air pumps that come complementary with Stewart shops. Some shops have the digital air pumps but I think I kind of prefer the old school jammies like this one has”

“This Valero location is great and convenient when traveling on 44 although most of the time, especially during the day hours, all the pumps may be taken and will require some waiting. The parking lot has a decent size to fit enough cars, though, there are no lines drawn to park exactly, which I find to be no issue, considering there's enough space all around. Everything inside looks pretty well stocked with snacks, drinks, and even coffee to make while on the go. Little cramped inside when moving around, so do take caution. Customer service at this Valero is great, as they're friendly and pretty outgoing to start a conversation with you especially if you're a regular. Can't emphasize enough, we need more of that everywhere.”

“Love this place, open all night and the sandwiches are the best! They gotta give the late night man a kitchen upgrade and air conditioning though! He'd be cooking up a storm!”

“Good prices but can be extremely hectic at peak times. Everyone trying to get a deal on fuel. Would be less chaotic if drivers used pumps in one direction, with pull throughs”

“Very nice stewart's, Andrew really helped me out and gave me the best service possible. He made the best peanut butter pandemonium milkshake i've ever had and he even gave me some tourist information about Poughkeepsie. The lady that was working with Andrew with the curly dark hair was also very kind and insightful. Can't remember her name but she had a great smile, very welcoming.Thank you Andrew and lady which i dont know your name, I will be back to get another milkshake”

“Very friendly service and an exceptional variety of spur of the moment provisions. On this date, this gas station had pricing nearly $.20 less per gallon than just a mile or two away.”

“Convenience store selling refreshments, basic foodstuffs and essential travel gear (i.e., mobile chargers and condoms) and lottery tickets. Hopefully my lotto ticket wins today’s big one so that I can buy more mobile chargers and condoms.”

“Black-top in good repair, including the cut-outs for ingress and egress. Digitized signs for pricing in real-time. All eight gas pumps working at time of review. Pump of compressed air for tires. Relic of a barn/garage by the road sign, complete with weathered wood and dilapidated fixtures. Single-seater bathroom in decent shape. Terminal for credit/debit at register. Two long refrigerators for refreshments, including gallons of milk. Reliable employee behind plexiglass sneeze guards post-‘Rona”

“This Cumberland Farms is in the middle of nowhere, inexplicably with a Stop & Shop and Shell across the street. (Maybe there was more over the hill. I don't know, I didn't go that way.) I imagine the heads of Cumberland Farm and Shell met there when it was a grassy field, and decided there, in quiet New York, they would put up rival gas stations for exhausted travelers and theirs would be a great rivalry for the local history books. There are no obvious signs of victory or defeat to indicate who may be winning. I went with Cumberland Farms because I noticed it with enough time to turn. The station has like eight pumps available, and a pretty big store for snacks. In addition to your regular chips and sodas, they also have hot dogs, coffee, and grab & go sandwiches. It seems to have a strong local following; the other customers seemed to know the cashier. At present, they seem to be having AC issues because it's warm in there! Not unbearable, but not for extended periods of time for people who prefer the fall or winter. There are public restrooms which are actually pretty clean, that earned this station five stars for me!”

“Its a great spot to spot and rest after filling up your tank. It is just off of the parkway so you can relax and not take a huge detour just to get gas. The machine and pump work well with plenty of space to park when you want to go to the convenience store to pick up some muchies or drinks for the road.”

“Points for being a full-service station when those are few and far between. Otherwise a simple station with just two pumps. Polite masked attendant, and there is a hose for filling tires with compressed air. Decent illumination, and located right next to Triumph Gardens.”
