My daughter-in-law took her Santa Fe for service and at first they said only an oil change was part of 3 year free maintenance. But later they refunded the replacement cabin filter and coolant flush. If they did not bring up their mistake of initially charging for those 2 items she would not have known. Thank U South Shore Hyundai for being honest and refunding the $380.

Had a simple task of connecting a new key to my car. Took close to 3hrs (9:45-1:04) waiting in their service center. I had to go and ask why the delay on two separate occasions. Don’t expect quick service for such a large service center. I recommend visiting another Hyundai service center.

I have been here 3 times for the same issue. Each time I have an appointment, they tell me to come back another day. First, they don't have the part. the second time, they forgot to order the part. The 3rd time, they didn't have time to install the part even though I had arrived for my morning appointment. I am still being told to come back another day for a 4th visit. Peter is friendly and helpful, but this shop needs to get itself organized. What's the point of an appointment if you can't keep it.

I was finally given a courtesy vehicle to use while my car was in the shop. It took an extra day after the estimated repair date, but overall, I'm just happy to get my car fixed and returned.

Absolutely stay away from this service center! They do not care about quality repairs or customer service. Brand new car; They forgot to replace all the parts taken off during an oil change. They put the wrong type of oil in the car and argued with me that the oil cap and car manuals listed oil is just a suggestion !? I now take my car to Advantage Hyundai where without any intervention they use the correct oil and take care of my vehicle. Advantage pointed out all the missing parts that will cost me 200 dollars to replace.

By far the WORSE experience I’ve had at any Hyundai service branches. 7 business days to fix my car with a part they had in custody for 3 business days? NEVER again! I had my pick up date push back three times for a labor job that took a hour or slightly less to install. What ever manager is providing the work needs better organization.

1st time I went they didn't have the vehicle I was looking for. Then they messaged me saying they did have it in stock so I went to see and they didn't. Waited there for 45 mins and the seller disappeared. I don't like these type of games and have the time. I was very annoyed with the sales dept.

Great customer service, they service your vehicle as fast as they can and do a good job at whatever the issue is. I think they can do better at discounts though. Things are very expensive, and for such a large corporation such as Hyundai, they can afford it. $60 to change one light bulb is a lot; the consumer can find better pricing at a local shop but we choose to go to the dealer for the sake of the quality. However they do their best. I am thankful for the great service team and reps at the desk.

This dealership performed an inspection on my 2022 Ionic 5 EV . They charged me $37 which included the $27 for emissions testing… the receipt from the NYS inspection said $10 . The manager on duty said after two years the vehicle pays the full amount. According to NYS website EVs are excempt from emissions cost . Seriously its an EV . So they just pocketed the difference. Shady dealership. They also drained my 12v battery during a software update and gave me the car without performing a diagnostic. My car died when I got home and called roadside assistance to jump it . Seriously poor service!

Very great service here. Took my car here when I needed a transmission job and had to get a courtesy vehicle for a few months. I was nervous about driving the new vehicle but the manager of the loaner vehicles Benjy was reassuring and super helpful. He walked me through their policies and the functions of the car and eventually fell in love with the loaner vehicle only a few weeks after having it. If you need service for your Hyundai, come to this dealership. Benjy and the rest of the staff are wonderful.

I love South Shore Hyundai in Valley Stream specifically!! Everytime I bring my car for service and need a loaner car, Benjy, the customer relations manager, always takes care of my needs. I don’t know what I would do if Benjy wasn’t working there. He’s a great person and is
