Absolutely worst experience. Went to get basic NYS auto inspection. Told an hour later 4 of my lug nuts are missing where I had wheel locking nuts. Amazingly they disappeared as well as the unlocking wrench that was with the spare tire. No choice but to buy new lug nuts. Go to Goodyear yesterday for tire rotation. Mechanic said one of the studs broke when they tried to remove one of those new lug nuts because they said it was not put on correctly. Really can't put on a basic lug nut. Never will go here again. Had to buy and install new stud and lug nut costing me another 115 dollars.

These people don’t know a thing about good customer service and after all the other reviews I’m shocked they’re still in business. Absolutely terrible service and most likely ruining your car even more just get more money out of you. Stay away!

This was honestly one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a repair shop. I thought going here would be convenient since it's not that far away from where I live, but the service was slow and they took more time to fix what I asked for. Every time I went back, there was some new excuse as to why my car wasn't finished. When I tried to express the urgency and remind the owner of the projected date he himself gave me, he gave me attitude. If you're going to run your business on dishonesties, then good luck with finding more incompetent customers, because myself and other people are not.

This service station tried holding my car there when I refused to pay for a service that I never asked for. The mechanic assumed I needed my brakes fixed, when I simply went in there for an oil change. Nothing about my car was problematic. Although being a used car, its fairly new with great mileage and the dealership I bought it from had paperwork proving its great condition. These people are shady and will do anything to swindle you out of your money.

HORRIBLE, CONNIVING, GREEDY, GREEDY THIEVES! The guy who runs the places is the shadiest b****** mechanic I've ever met in my life. Do not bring your vehicle here. He will rip you off and look you straight in the eyes completely unsympathetic about his actions. He's a terrible man and a crook. This place is everything that's wrong about dishonest and disgusting mechanics! You've been warned!

If I could give Hoeffners Service Station Negative 100 stars I WOULD! All of the prior comments are 100% accurate! They take every chance to rip you off and they take advantage of people who aren't car savvy in addition to tampering with your vehicle all so they could fix it and charge you a ridiculous amount. I brought my car in for a simple oil change. Without telling me, they began fixing my brakes and told me all of a sudden -- and out of no where -- that my brake hose had a leak. They ordered parts without my consent and held my car hostage for two days telling me it was going to be finished at a certain time (LIE) and holding onto it even longer all so they could keep charging me. They take their sweet old time at your expense and create problems that aren't there. After I'd had enough of their lies, I demanded my car back and said I'd take it to my mechanic as I didn't trust them or their word and would much rather prefer to have it in the hands of someone I know. The owner proceeded to call me a "F***ing A*****e!!" several times, did something to my car battery and dumped it in the lot where my mechanic came to collect it. Stay away from this place by all means! It lacks integrity, professionalism, and overall morals. The owner is a horrible man and it is clear they are motivated only by greed.
