My sales rep Winsome was amazing. She made me feel right at home, comfortable knowing what I was axing of what exactly I wanted and she picked out the outfits. She made it very easy matched everything to my like the store is amazing as well

The store was ok. I got there 15 minutes before they closed. What I like was they didn't yell out we close in 15 minutes. I was asked for help but it wasn't like there manager who cared the tall guy was just ready to go. I prefer the Brooklyn store and the far away Long Island store. They are little bit more helpful. It was a good experience.

It was my father’s first time shopping at DXL. He’s not had good results shopping for larger sizes and having a wider selection of clothes until we saw the store while at a shopping mall at Green Acres. Once we walked through the door, we were immediately greeted by Winsome. She was amazing! She asked my father what type of clothes he was looking for what his preference of style and comfort. She has a keen eye for sizes and never left my father’s side throughout our experience there. Winsome made our shopping experience fun and easy. We will definitely be back very soon. I’m hoping that Winsome will be there when we do. She’s like having our very own personal shopper. Love it ?

When I went, the staff was giving me dirty looks the whole time and I got the vibe that they absolutely hated their jobs. But if you're a big dude, this is the place for clothes. But good golly gosh are they expensive. It is incredibly expensive to be fat and not wear stuff from Walmart.

Finding clothing as a larger person is difficult; not all stores carry all sizes, and that's mostly okay.They often augment their limited inventory with online-only sizes that can be ordered. However it's quite disheartening when you have to to pre-plan your outfits days or weeks in advance, to ensure proper shipping times, and what happens if you don't like it? It brings a lot of stress and frustration, and can really feel as though you're being excluded from what most people take for granted.Now, stepping into a place like DXL was a euphoric experience for me, because I felt catered-to. Words aren't enough to describe how empowered and validated I felt to be in a store where I don't have to think, "I hope they have my size in the back, or online..." It's not necessary, because the sizes on the shelves are MY sizes, and I can easily browse, shop and curate an outfit.DXL gives me the space to design an outfit that I want to wear, instead of a small section of "here's what might fit." Being able to create an outfit from an entire store that caters to larger people is so powerful. I wish I had known about DXL sooner, as quite literally, the course of my life could have changed exponentially. Instead of trying to fit into wrong sizes and styles, I could have been expressing myself authentically! Instead of panicking about online delivery times, I can walk into DXL and shop for an outfit the day of.Do yourself, and someone you know, the favor of checking out DXL if anyone struggles finding appropriate sizes and styles. You'll be amazed what a transformative experience it will be for them!

For the prices they charge they should have better customer service. I usually avoid the Valley Stream branch and patronize the Carle Place location where customer service is usually better.
