Courtney Jackson makes the experience that much better. She is personable, yet professional. Service was great as usual. Only complaint is the lack of (compared to other car brand dealerships) refreshments in the waiting area. There used to be mini bagels at least, before the pandemic.Services: Tire rotations

Excellent service as always!I’ve been a long time customer for over a decade and the staff is great, mechanics are top tier and manager always sends follow up messages to make sure the experience was satisfactory.Special shout-out to employee Courtney, she is amazing, very knowledgeable, very professional, courteous and always treats her customers with the upmost care and respect, year after year. My experience was great for the first time at Acura of valley stream. Courtney Jackson was the person that took great care of me for my first experience. She is an excellent service provider. She explain everything and made my first experience great.

First impression is so good. I came when the guys were closing down. I have explained that I was not able to come early cause of my work and David did his magic speech with maintenance guys who took care of my MdX. Had really pleasant service and were out in 20 min. Simply GREAT

Took my Acura TLX in for maintenance, this was my first time at the shop. All I can say is wow. My experience at Acura of Valley Stream was amazing. Not only did I receive exceptional service on my car. I also left with greater knowledge of my vehicle. David was great to work with. I will be returning again for service. Thanks guys.

The Acura Dealership staff was extremely professional, courteous & informative. The parts & repair staff were excellent as well. The wait time was under an hour, and the follow up report card by the customer service agent was not only informative, but helped me prioritize addressing issues.

I would give 5 stars if I was only referring to Courtney Jackson and the staff performance, however, the amount of money that I had to pay!!! It was absurd. Ms Jackson had no control over the price of the services. She did locate a coupon for my oil change and she informed me about the payment plan. If I find a neighborhood mechanic that can do the same thing for less, Acura won't see me anymore. It would benefit Acura to at least offer some type of senior citizen discount. Please, take that into consideration.

I've been to Acura service center a few times, never had a bad experience. The wait to get your vehicle diagnosed is not long. The staff is very helpful and there is this one lady who spends time with you going over what needs to be done, you can ask her literally any question and she'll take time to explain.The waiting area is very clean with lots of chairs and charging stations for your phones. There is complementary coffee and tea, the bathrooms are clean. Your wait won't seem long because the atmosphere there is very welcoming. I will continue going there as I am confident in their service. You literally drive out of there feeling a difference in your vehicle.Rosalyn C.

I recently had an appointment at Valley Stream for an oil change, tire rotation, and brake fluid flush. Unfortunately, my entire experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. Here's why:Arrival and Check-In Process: I arrived promptly at 7:49 AM, expecting to be checked in and have my vehicle serviced by 8:00 AM. However, despite the presence of 8 vehicles already waiting, the service representative didn't check me in until 8:20 AM. This delay set a negative tone for the rest of my visit.Lengthy Wait Time: After the check-in, I was left waiting for an agonizing 2.5 hours with no updates or communication from the service staff. To make matters worse, I had to personally inquire about the status of my car, only to find out it was ready for pickup. The lack of proactive notification was highly unprofessional.Inefficiency during Payment: When I finally went to pay my bill, it took an additional 10 minutes for someone to bring my paperwork to the cashier. This delay, even after removing the $15 inconvenience fee, was unacceptable. The overall lack of urgency and efficiency demonstrated by the staff was deeply frustrating.Difficulty Retrieving My Vehicle: As I eagerly waited to collect my car, a new problem arose. The service staff had trouble locating my car keys, despite my insistence that I had seen someone move it to the front. I felt ignored and frustrated by their disregard for my observations. Eventually, my keys were found, but only after a 5-minute search due to a mislabeled key tag.Comparison with Previous Dealership: I had chosen Valley Stream for convenience, as it was closer to my location compared to my usual service provider, Park Ave Acura. However, this experience has made it clear that the convenience was not worth the subpar service. I will now have to make the effort to return to Park Ave Acura, where I originally purchased my vehicle, to receive the timely and excellent service I expect.My visit to Valley Stream for routine maintenance turned into unnecessary time wasted. The delays, lack of communication, and inefficiency throughout the process were highly disappointing. I cannot recommend this service center based on my experience.

I really want to say that I had a great experience with valley stream acura . I had purchased my Acura MDX three years ago from Huntington Acura but I had a really hard time with Huntington Acura’s service . Everytime I would bring my car in there I had to wait at least 6 hrs for them to fix it and always had to make an appointment days in advance to get my car fixed !! Once I got my windshield replaced by Huntington Acura and it was still making noise . I think the service department is not good at Huntington Acura . This time I decided to go Valley stream Acura . I pulled up because my car was not driving properly, shaking , making jerks and noise . I was seen immediately without any appointments at VALLEY STREAM ACURA. I also did not have to sit and wait six hours. Victoria at the desk was very nice and very helpful. She gave me prompt advice and estimates about what needed to be done . I am so glad I found this Acura service . I will be coming here from now on . They replaced my car belt , did my breaks and made my car running smooth . My AC was also not working in this hot heat of the summer . Valley stream Acura fixed my car AC too . I am really happy with the prompt immediate service provided by VALLEY STREAM ACURA . I highly recommend VALLEY STREAM Acura for their service and pricing . I will be back ! Thank you .

On February 18, 2023, I brought my 2012 Acura MDX to Acura of Valley Stream NY. I explained to Ms. Courtney Jackson of Acura of Valley Stream NY that I had a check emission light that remained although with replacing both catalyst converters. On February 24, 2023, Courtney requested me to email her the receipts on 2/18/23 which I provided the payments of a Bank 1 and Bank 2 Catalyst Converters done by a mechanic the previous years on 3/09/21 and 2/24/22. Ms. Courtney Jackson stated she would contact the mechanic and request where the catalyst converter was bought for possible refund since it was within 1 year warranty. She later reported approximately 2 days later that she didn't call the mechanic as the Acura technician stated it was cheap aluminum converters installed. She stated the reason for the light remaining was due to the mechanic using off the market Catalyst Converters which were not dealer certified parts. Ms. Courtney Jackson reassured me that if I replaced the catalyst converter that the code showed when the technician inspected the car with genuine parts from Acura my car would be fixed. I authorized the replacement of 1 catalyst converter, gasket, bolt and other services as requested by the technician to address the check emission light. Acura service department had my car for approximately 2-3 weeks for service at that point. On March 4, 2023, I picked up my car with a cost of $3,659.77 from Acura of Valley Stream NY. I drove the car home and the following day the check emission light was back on. I contacted Ms. Courtney Jackson which stated I could bring the car back which I did. I was later told by Ms. Courtney Jackson that I had to replace the other catalyst converter for the check emission light to be properly addressed. On March 16, 2023, I dropped my car to Acura of Valley Stream, and I picked up my 2012 Acura MDX again on 4/11/23 with an additional cost of $1,814.02 for work done (i.e., 02 sensor) and other work per technician diagnostic testing to address the check emission light. Not even a day after picking up my car on March 16, 2023, the light was back on. I contacted Ms. Courtney Jackson again about the check emission light being back on. I brought the car back to Acura of Valley Stream NY in which they had my car for about a week before I was told the reason the light is back on is because there is a crack in the exhaust. I am extremely disappointed in the service I received at Acura of Valley Stream. After spending close to $6,000 and my issues are still not addressed. I feel duped out of close to $6,000 as my car is still not fixed. How can this be allowed to continue to happen to customers. What kind of diagnostic testing did they do? To duped me out of close to $6,000 without my car issues fixed is unacceptable. Reassuring me that the diagnostic testing done by the technicians would address the issue that I came in and collecting monies is fraud. I thought a reputable company as Acura would be a better choice than previous mechanic however, I now know that not to be true as you displayed dishonesty. I am extremely disheartened now and regrettably that I put my trust in Acura of Valley Stream NY.

I love going to Acura of Valley stream. They always treat me well and make everything easy. They have a friendly staff, a clean waiting area, and a fast service. Courtney is awesome and always helps me out. She is knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. She always answers my questions and gives me the best advice.
