Despite having an appointment for my daughter's passport, the experience was marred by the condescending and unprofessional behavior of the passport staff.
Upon arrival, I attempted to explain the purpose of our visit to one staff member, only to be constantly interrupted by the passport lady, which was quite off-putting. Had she allowed me to speak, she would have realized that we had a 3:15pm appointment scheduled.
The overall demeanor of the passport staff was discourteous and dismissive, which is unacceptable in a customer service setting.

I have lost three packages. and when I go to ask for help they tell me they can't do anything. They always notify me that the package arrived when I haven't received it.I always use a friendly tone to ask for help but they are the opposite.

I had to come do a review because folks tend to review only with bad experiences and not good ones. I come to this post office because it's close to us, closes at 3 on Saturdays, and the folks behind the desk are so helpful and nice. Never have had an issue and I've had service by different personnel. I like this over any other post office in Rockland... especially palisades mall where one person in particular is rude and miserable.

I love our Post Office in Valley Cottage. I was there yesterday, and Perry was singing as he worked. I find that the desk staff is always helpful and friendly. I have a smile on my face every time I leave. I am grateful for their service.

The Indian woman working at the desk is rude. She basically just throws stuff on the counter and has a very nasty attitude. Normally, I wouldn't care but her attitude is ridiculous but Maybe it's because I'm black. She deserves to not have a job if she is good at customer service!!!!!

The staff at VC USPS is by far the nicest, friendliest, and honest group of post office professionals I've ever worked with. We recently went in for passport renewals and photos to correct an error. Mary was polite, courteous, and knowledgeable about the correction process. Thank you VC USPS team in making our appointment go so smoothly!

Both the lady with the red hair and the older gentlemen with glasses are so rude and sarcastic every time I enter the building. Choosing to take my business someplace else!

I’ve recently relocated from California and am finding the folks here really helpful. The librarian at Nyack library referred me to the Valley Cottage PO for my passport renewal.
