Girl Scout Troop 2812 was so happy to bake cupcakes for the guests at the RMH in Valhalla. Their entire "House" is extremely clean. We loved using their kitchen to bake with our Junior troop, of 10 year olds. Susan at the front desk made it such a pleasant experience, with quick and easy check-in. We can't wait to volunteer again! We will definitely be back to help. :-)

No words can do this place justice. It was so amazing & heart warming to have you take us in during our desperate time of need. I would give 10 stars if I could. The atmosphere in the house is amazing, the employees are so amazing sweet & accommodating. You have wonderful volunteers that made sure there is always fresh cooked meals everyday. This place supplies everything little thing you could imagine. You don't have to worry about anything. They have everything covered. Which was a huge weight off our shoulders while our daughter was in the hospital.

Absolutely a God send when our son suffered an acute stroke. Didn't demand payment for our stay at the house, but was happy to cover the cost listed on their website for 13 nights. Absolutely peanuts.

What an amazing place for families that need their services. I remember growing up and seeing the donation house at several McDonald's locations. To be honest, sometimes you just don't know if your donations will go to the organization unless it is on a big platform. However, I was able to see that this place has provided accommodations, supplies and meals to my sister so she can stay close to the hospital to care for her newborn. I can donate to this wonderful organization cheerfully because I have witnessed what they do for countless families. Everything they need is provided for them at no cost which is simply amazing.

The Ronald McDonald house was a God sent gift in our most critical time of need. My son had a horrific car accident and I cannot begin to write down all of the traumatic injuries he has endured, but the Ronald McDonald house came through for us and gave us more than we could have ever imagined. But more that the beautiful room, the food, and the snacks, were the people! The beautiful people there that greeted you with a smile and always asked how we were doing. They are the people that you will never forget, they remind you of what kindness, love and compassion truly is. My family and I are so eternally grateful for them and the Ronald McDonald house. We will never forget what you meant and what you did for us. We are still in a difficult battle with our son, but when the rainbow comes, we will give back in whatever way we can.

Our daughter was born 10 weeks early at vassar hospital in Poughkeepsie,ny back in July of 2022. I had gone for a routine checkup and ended up in the hospital and we had our daughter within an hour. She needed to be on a vent to help with her lung development. At 3 days old they told us she needed a better machine and they wanted to transfer her to westchester because they had more advanced equipment. We sat in that waiting room for what felt like forever and we had received the worst news possible. Our sweet baby ended up with an infection that was sepsis and caused a brain bleed. It was the worst feeling we ever felt when a few hours before she just needed a more defined machine to help her breathe. We were told the way she was in that moment, they didn't think she was going to make it. We live an hour an a half from the childrens hospital and I had know idea what we were going to do. I heard of Ronald McDonald and immediately applied that same night. By Monday I had a call that we could move in and I couldn't be more grateful. The next two and a half months were some of the most trying times of my life and I thank god for the Ronald McDonald house, who they are and what they do. I wouldn't have made it with out them. They were my people when my husband had to go back to work and it was just me. Two and a half months they held me up. I can not thank them enough.

For five months this Ronald McDonald house was a saving grace while we went through the trials of a NICU birth. All of the staff members and volunteers were friendly and stopped at nothing to make sure the stay was a warm and welcoming home just a stone's throw away from our boy. It's heartwarming to know that an oasis like this exists for when people really need it.
