I tried getting a quote on a specific manufacturer's kitchen cabinets but the designer refused to give itemized pricing details after waiting weeks. It's not clear if I would ever get the details even once I placed the order. Not sure if they are disorganized, understaffed or shady. If you want transparent pricing, this is not the place.

I stopped by Marios today and found this sign on the front door: “Screw you, we’re closed” I guess I’ll be doing my hardware shopping in either Nassau or Chatham from now on.

Marios has been our hometown hardware store for 20+ yrs. NOT ANYMORE. TWICE in the last two weeks I've gone in and patrons have not been wearing masks (one of them is the same local house painter who had a mask but had actually pulled it down to talk!) despite Marios having signs requiring masks. I even called and spoke w the manager after the fist incident. We love(d) Marios but they are not working to keep their patrons or staff safe. Sorry guys. I'll find a more responsible hardware store until this is all over.
