Erik, Linda, and Feng are all extremely knowledgeable and very helpful! Not to mention some of the friendliest people I've met in the nearly eight years I've lived here!Not only do they have excellent knowledge of their products, the different wine and spirits in general (if they're not sommeliers, I'd be shocked!), but also of many other products.I inquired about apertifs and digestifs as I have digestive issues, and I was blown away by the amazing knowledge of both the products, but knowledge of the herbal ingredients that are used to go into the different digestifs... Anisette, Amaro, Cynar, Schnapps... I could go down the list alphabetically and they'd be able to educate even those who consider themselves familiar with such liquor/liqueurs/apertifs/digestifs with very interesting, educational, and helpful information; I learn something new each time I go in!As a double major in Pharm.D. (Doctor of Pharmacy) and B.S. in Biological Sciences, I thought I had a decent handle on the medicinal chemistry and pharmacology/physiological effects of the different herbs, ingredients, and products... Erik blew me away with his encyclopedic knowledge of basically every product I asked about. He, like the rest of the staff, is extremely friendly, outgoing, and has been very helpful in my search for an effective digestifs to aid my health issues for the short term until I'm able to see my primary care physician in May (COVID-19 has affected so many aspects of life for us all, so it's a relief and pleasure to know a place like Kinderhook Wine and Spirits exists with such friendly and knowledgeable staff to help while so many places are short staffed and hectic!Their prices are phenomenal as well!

For a small package store within a village plaza, it carries a wide variety of alcoholic beverages! Organized so you can choose your section and easily scan the variety of choices. Prices are affordable from a drink with dinner to a celebration of epic proportions! ? Helpful and friendly clerks know their products. Buy locally brewed spirits and robust wines from NYS! Shop Local! ??
