Worst pharmacy ever. After endless errors on their part and after REFUSING to order my medicine ( because of yet another error on their part concerning my insurance) I called my doctor's office to switch to a different CVS ( which was able to put it thru insurance without difficulty ) and the woman I spoke with at my doctor's office told me that she also had endless issues in Valatie and switched to a different pharmacy as well. This used to be a really good pharmacy and then there was a major turnover of staff. All I can say is, go elsewhere if you are looking for any kind of knowledgeable care, or failing that, any responsibility/actual concern for your health.

I was there shopping last night for pharmacy and store around 9 o'clock and I didn't know that they were closing at that time. But the lady at the drive-through waiting on me anyway it was very courteous and gracious. Then I went into the store not knowing that they were closing. I was offered assistance by a gracious lady who even bagged my items at the self check out while i finished the transaction. It was only after I overheard one of the workers mention this to another, that I called to find out their hours after I got out in my car. I found out that indeed they closed at 9 o'clock. I thought the lady was pretty fantastic and super friendly, also wishing me a Merry Christmas. Well done and thank you CVS!

Properly staff places and teach people proper customer service. Teach them how to speak with customers without being rude even if they are short staffed. Fill scripts as they come in and don't push aside ones in system for new incoming. I shouldn't have had to come back three times to get scripts filled.

Terrible pharmacy. Slow at filling scripts. Poor communication. Inconsiderate employees.

They don't do their job. Be ready to work for the pharmacy when you use this location. Only thing they can do that I can't is actually fill the prescription. Otherwise, i do the leg work. So time consuming when I do that on top of my job and for them, it's their job.

NO DRIVE THROUGH PCR TESTING RIGHT NOW because of short staff. CVS online scheduling does not recognize this. If you make an appointment, call to verify before going!!

If I could give it zero stars, I would. To be very clear, it is NOT the fault of the staff there; the problem is that it is WOEFULLY understaffed. My husband and I had an appointment today for a Covid PCR test, and waited at the drive-through window for about a half-hour while we could see the woman staff-person inside walking back and forth, waiting on customers. When I finally went to the front of the store, there was a sign that said "no Covid testing". So why couldn't they have let us know that via the same texting process that confirmed the appointment? We probably will not be able to have a Christmas visit with our immuno-compromised relative now, because by the time we get an appointment elsewhere, we won't get results in time. Thanks for ruining Christmas!

The pharmacy is now a disaster. A medication I must have daily and that is on automatic refill still was not refilled and after a week I had to go in to wait for it. The drive thru is closed, phones are left off the hook. I miss Marybeth and it's a shame they let someone as good as she was walk away. Unfortunately, I will be transferring prescriptions elsewhere as I am sure many more will be doing.

While I normally give CVS a good rating I have to say the phone system is a disaster. I called the pharmacy and it rang for 15 mins. I hung up and tried again. It rang for 10 mins. Then I hung up and called the store. it was not being answered either. The next day I asked what happened and I was informed they had no one to answer the phones.Well I could sympathize with that if a recording said that there was a problem but instead I hadn't wasted 30 minutes of my time. The assistant told me there was no way to attach a message like this. This is yet one more example of the disintegration of services we are all experiencing everywhere thanks to Covid. However I have higher expectations for CVS to deal with this and not just waste their customers time and cause a lot of frustration.

If you happen to find yourself with way too much free time on your hands, then this is the place for you, especially if you want a COVID test! All you need do is log onto the CVS website, book an appointment on a day and time of your choice, then, after you receive an email confirmation code for your appointment, just drive here (for me, it was only a one-hour drive) whereupon you'll be informed, "SURPRISE! We don't actually do COVID tests here! Gotcha!" So, "Thanks CVS. I hope you have a really nice day like you made for me."

It *was* a great pharmacy but MaryBeth the pharmacist left and I am told also 2/3 of the pharmacy staff left. So now the wait time is very, very long - 3 days or more!-- and they have stopped Covid testing. It is probably still better than the Fairview Ave., Hudson location in terms of promptness and courtesy.
