I always stop here when I’m on the area working. Good people here and they got the best corner store food around. I work late for my second job and this place has been my spot all Ramadan. Shout out Foodland y’all some real ones.

The people there doesn’t know ho to count cash I gave the man a 20 dollar bill and I only the chips that was 2 dollars and some change and I got a juice and the juice was only 1 dollars and he gave me 2 dollars back and I did the math and it’s only one person the knows how to count in that store and it’s a girl and every time I go in there they always watch me and I be having money in my hand and they think I’m going to steal from the but I been going to the store since I was 7 years old

West Utica food land. On court street is. Selling reds and greens out the store not ID giving to minors and selling beer with out asking for ID young girl behind counter is one that is selling reds and green and beer to minors not asking for ID and she’s rude told me she slap n punch me in my face she said this her store she run it the way she wants to she sold my 13 year old kid smokes n beer

Foodland is close to my house and I love going there, the workers are always friendly and if you order food there they make it exactly as you ask and I would recommend getting the Philly cheese steak sub, there wedges with seasoning salt, and the cut cheese sub, also the best chicken over rice in Utica!

Place is better than it was. They cleaned the place up. Much better job on making subs/fries, etc. There is still No place in Utica that can make even a decent Cheesesteak. Good place for a corner store.

This place is dirty nasty and understocked. The patrons and staff are allowed act like animals. Swarms of neighborhood children are freely allowed to roam around the store and be disrespectful to adult patrons. You may find yourself waiting on line for long periods of time. Because the night time cashier has to, take his time and, hit on every even semi attractive female who comes in. Pack a lunch.If you bother taking your complaints to the owner of the shop, (believe it or not his name is yahya.) you will be wasting your time for he is very unconcerned about your complaints. But he will, happily, take your money.How 'bout that?And as for observing CDC guidelines, forget it. So if you're unlucky enough to need to attempt and shop there, when you leave make sure you wash your hands. Trust me when I tell you, I shop here out of pure necessity.

Always the vibe of the westside inner city. 20+ years and still going strong. Fast, convenient, best darn cold subs in utica. The new renovations look nice with much more added space.
