I liked this school a lot and the campus was exceptionally beautiful. There is wildlife absolutely everywhere. I regularly saw deer, rabbits, ducks, and much more. It has a very New England vibe overall. Price is similar to other SUNYs, but I felt the quality of professors was much better than other SUNYs, particularly in the CS department. Professors are down-to-earth, approachable, and supportive. There's several new buildings on campus, hopefully with the rest remodeled eventually also. Highly recommend!!!

Rude registrar, does not try to explain and work with students.Advisors should do a better job at letting students know their standing.

GREAT UNIVERSITY!! I completed my Master's degree, and I now work for the federal government. I don't give a damn what anyone else says!! SUNY Poly is a great institution of higher education! The professors are outstanding, the curriculum is outstanding, and the social life at SUNY Poly is very good as well! I'm extremely happy to call SUNY Polytechnic Institute my alma mater! Although, the college was called SUNY Institute of Technology when I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Public Management back in 2000. GO WILDCATS!!!

Many things have changed since I attended, as it should. The campus is sprawling and the new residence halls and academic centers seem top notch.

We were there to watch a soccer game. Our daughter goes to the opposing team.very clean modern campus. Well groomed field. Nice facilities.

The internet is terrible throughout the campus and within the dorms. We are forced to pay for a meal plan but, the food in the Campus Center is below mediocre.

I proudly graduated from this outstanding institution of higher education in December 2000! This college features exceptional engineering programs on a par with Clarkson, Syracuse University, US Military Academy at West Point, and many others!! I'm now taking graduate classes towards my Masters Degree due to the outstanding curriculum, and highly professional and knowledgeable faculty!! If you're looking for a great college with challenging courses, helpful professors, and a great social evironment...look no further than SUNY Polytechnic Institute!!
