MetLife is corrupt & they are abusive with their business practices. They are criminals & knowingly violate the law. I supposedly had an overpayment in 2019, that I requested validation & officially disputed. My requests were ignored. Fast forward to 2022… I had a serious injury & had to file a claim for STD. They withheld a substantial amount from my benefits without a proper written notice. I reached out to them, no response until I sent a certified letter. Jennifer Williams reached out to me, with a bunch of non-sense & just quoting a bunch of legalese. Shame on Metlife & her audacity to justify their illegal actions. I’m tired of their antics & will be filing a lawsuit to remedy this matter. The court will make the final decision, not Jennifer Williams or MetLife. If I could rate MetLife, it would be negative 1,000 stars. A horrible company that is both abusive & greedy. I would never recommend this company to anyone. As my employer is contracted with them, I don’t have a choice to switch companies. :(

Horrendous customer service. Nothing but robots on the phone, and if you manage to get someone they are foreigner from around the world. Their online system is horrible can pay certain policies on line but not others. Farmers insurance took over a portion of met life nothing like getting double billed from both companies.
