I've been using Parkway for about 7 years. The male Pharmacists are great. Always polite and knowledgable. However, the female pharmacist has always been rude to me when I communicate with her. Inspite of that, Parkway is the best to me.

Consistently poor communication. ALWAYS call before you go to get an script and make sure it’s filled. Otherwise a waste of time and energy. They NEVER call to tell me if there is an issue with my Rx’s. So after I commute to get my meds, then I find out there is an issue which will take a few days to resolve, and they have had the script for a few days. Could have called to let me know there was an issue, bring insurance, anything. Nope, just leave me guessing constantly. Pharmacy assistant have trouble listening and reading. I spell my name slowly, they can’t find it. Then someone else comes along and asks same questions, finds it right away. Constantly new faces, lots of turn over. Manager always seems hurried and hassled. Not a pleasant experience. Going elsewhere.

Constantly greeted with rude disrespectful condescending associates. Par for the course over there. always try to give shopping local a shot and rarely does it work out well

They pick and choose who to ID for narcotic prescriptions based on how they look. The older female pharmicist is the worst offender. If you are going to check ID then you have to do it for every single customer every time. Not discriminate.

Pharmacy refused to fill the prescription for Amoxcillin despite my doctor and I both telling them it was okay. Do not go here if you need service. Calling me five times to say we're working on it is disruptive call me once when you have something to say, oh and actually record the patient's information the first time.

After switching from a lifetime of commercial chain pharmacies I was pleasantly surprised with the service and attention to detail I get at Parkway Drugs. Switching was simple: I brought my old prescription bottles in and had any new sent to them. The pharmacist was fantastic working with my doctor to make sure that my long term maintenance medication scripts were cost effective for me. They've been wonderful communicating with me and have always been helpful if I have questions. They deliver for free (I try to remember to tip my driver) which is extremely helpful. They even remember (computerized aim sure) to call me on my birthday each year! And finally, I genuinely love to support local - especially when the service and quality is at its best.
