Going here was a very unpleasant experience. I was hiking through on the Appalachian Trail and walked into town for the evening. When the two attendants found out I was a hiker they started insulting me and hikers in general to my face.Then when I had the nerve to order a sandwich for dinner they started swearing at each other that one of them would have to make it.It is unbelievable to me that a shop that makes a not insubstantial amount of business from AT hikers passing through would treat them with utter contempt.

Horrible experience. Every employee in the place was extremely rude, to put it kindly. They don't deserve your business. Go elsewhere.

Great selection of general store items. The food was amazing as well. I had a Philly cheese steak and it was great. Freshly sliced meat, cheese, onions, peppers and the bread was perfect.Staff was very friendly and super helpful. The porch is amazing and I've been sitting here all day. Very hiker friendly as well.
