The location is horrid. They charge different amounts at times not specified. Waiting almost a week for a manager to cb with refund. Only has my son enrolled one month. Was told would be charged on the 1st and was charged on the 25th. Amount charged was wrong too

If I can give 0 stars I would! This place is highway robbery!!! My son has been here for 7 months and has not progressed at all. My friends brought their kids to the YMCA and started swimming after 2 weeks. Saf t swim is truly a scam!!! I feel like they keep him at a certain level, so that they can keep charging my credit card. I’m done with this place and taking my son to the YMCA, which is much affordable and I will see the progress within 2 weeks.

My daughter and I have been participating in the Parenttot session for almost 2 months now and I have nothing but positive things to say about the Garden City location. I’m writing this review for the staff. Everyone has been excellent in the office. I have a very weird work/life schedule and they have been so very accommodating to me and I notice the same for other parents as well. The highlight for me and especially my daughter is our instructor Milli Rodriguez. From the first session I instantly loved her vibe and my daughter adores her. She is so great with all the kids and that’s a skill that can’t be taught.

Worst swimming place I could have ever chose . Every week it’s a new instructor. My child cry’s every time . The first few weeks was ok with the same person then that person left and they keep giving me someone new .. I HAVE Officially cancel my membership with SAF T swim ..and some of these instructors are so unprofessional.. come on do better then this .. smh I would only come back if MATT RETURNS HE WAS DEFINITELY THE BEST

What kind of people work at this place? I've had my child with multiple instructors and most of them get distracted VERY EASILY. Their attention should be focused on the one kid that they are with, not at their coworkers or anyone else. Why should I spend a Friday or Saturday taking my child to swim if my instructor is babying my child and not pushing him to his limits? I don't understand why his teacher and the lifeguard are scrolling through Instagram in the middle of my child's swimming lesson. Why does my child have to stand up in 5 ft of water and wait for his teacher to continue his lesson? We paid for 30 minutes, so I find this UNACCEPTABLE. On the other hand, all of the senior swim instructors are absolutely amazing! They know what they are doing. Either the senior swim instructors should have more available classes or I'm switching to a different location.

My son started taking lessons here a year ago and if I had reviewed them then it might have only been 2-3 stars for a variety of frustrating reasons. We took a break over the winter (in part due to COVID waves and in part due to sheer frustration) and started again in June. Operations have improved greatly! They now bill on a monthly basis until you tell them to stop, so you get to keep the same time and instructor without having to worry (we had our time taken out from underneath us by another family in the old 6-week package system). They also just started using an app that tracks any makeup tokens you have and you can find an available makeup lesson and book it via the app (instead of the old call system - I was never able to use a makeup token from 2021 because I either couldn't get through or there was nothing available). So definite improvement there. There are still some bumps as they get used to the new app system - our instructor was out one day but they scheduled a sub... then didn't assign my son to the sub and we weren't able to have his lesson. They gave us a makeup token, but you can imagine how broken hearted he was. Then when I used the app to book his makeup session, there was another issue because the instructor had double booked themselves. The manager was able to secure another instructor on the fly, so it worked, but on the tails of the other mixup it wasn't a good look.We have one more makeup to use from when we cancelled due to COVID. Hopefully that booking goes smoothly and we will be back on track! The instructors all seem good, though some are clearly more seasoned than others. But I always feel like my son is safe and learning more each lesson, which is key.

My niece was blessed to be taught vital swimming lessons by Erin G. My niece went from being afraid of the water to being excited to go under, and show her uncle her swimming strokes! I’m endlessly proud of the work my niece has done, but I know that it was thanks to the wonderful instructor she had. Thanks Erin, and the Saf-T-Swim team!

They will cancel lesson on the day of the class and the make up expire in 3 months. We have been cancelled multiple times under different pretexts .Now if we cannot make up the lessons will expire .Deceptive business practices. This swim school WAS a great place has been a nightmare with constant price increases and frequent swim lesson cancellations

Our daughter enjoys learning how to swim with her instructor Erin. She is patient and thorough with explaining things to her. The atmosphere is definitely motivating, positive and encouraging.

Management is awful they have all these teenagers working there that don't know better about employment rights. They fire people for voicing their opinions. They cut hrs if they do not agree. Britney is the worst person in the company thinks she can treat people with no respect.

Highly disappointed. When we started a few months ago it was a great place. Not sure if we got lucky but the instructor we got was awesome. My daughter went from a beginner to level 5 in just approx 2 months time. I refered almost 10 other families since it was such a nice, clean and efficient facility. But the past month has been a mess. Our instructor left. Then there were cancellations and we do not get notified ahead so we would show up after driving 1hr(i know it not their fault that we choose to drive 1 hr there) then we are either stuck with a substitute or we can just leave. So there has been times we tried substitutes but unfortunately we somehow end up with a horrible ones. They would just stall till class is over doing minimal swim or wall climb. There are times where we are schedule with an instructor then suddenly they tell u no your class is cancelled, so why do we pay deposit ahead to hold the class? Past month and half has been a waste of money and time. She hasnt improved in swimming and we get cancelled or stuck with substitutes.
