This vet is the worst person I have ever met in my life. She must be drunk or on drugs while she deals with patients because she honestly has no idea what she is doing. My mom passed and I took over care of her animals. Her dog Gunner had a bump on his leg so I took him in in August. I paid almost 1000 for his surgery just for her to remove PART OF HIS LEG BONE and not the bump. He was weird for months. Gradually stopped eating, wasn’t moving around much, wouldn’t go outside for the bathroom. He’s a lab and a generally a very hyper dog before all of this. This was very out of character for him. Today we brought him to a different veterinary clinic to find out he does in fact have a tumor on his leg and also one in his stomach with a bunch of fluid. He had 30 pounds of fluid in his stomach. His body was riddled with cancer. So we decided it was his time. This is the second dog of my mother that she has done this to. Keeps saying oh they’re healthy no matter what symptoms they show just to turn out they’re holding on by a thread and have to be put to sleep. She’s an idiot. If I could give negative 100 stars I would. My animals will never go here again and neither should yours. Your animals might not get the chance to actually because I will not stop until her license is taken. Think of it as a blessing.

I called because I have a very sick 15 year old cat. She won’t help because I don’t bring my healthy cat there. I wouldn’tBring my cat there if they were healthy. I would drive 2 hours away to get their shots. But because their sick she won’t do anything. She would rather have them suffer than to help them.

The best! We were visiting town and needed to see the vet. I called everywhere around, and this was the only vet willing to help us out. On top of that, they turned out to be one of the best we've ever visited! Thank you so very much for helping out our grumpy old dog!

We were on vacation when our elderly Newfie needed emergency stitches. Dr. Scranton and her staff fit us into their busy schedule and took such amazing care of our pup. We are so grateful to them for helping Soren. Their love and consideration for pets (and pet parents) is so clear.

Dr. Scranton was extremely patient and took excellent care of our cat. How do I know this? Easy, our cat was comfortable, relaxed, and was calm during her entire exam. It's that simple.

The staff here where amazing! I had an emergency with my dog and they ended up squeezing us in even when they were booked for the day. Unfortunately I had to put my baby to sleep but they treated the situation with dignity and care and where very sweet through the whole process. I am forever grateful for them and what they did for my baby!!

My dog was showing signs of something seriously wrong. So I called this location in Tupper Lake for help. I was told I would receive a call back. Never received a call back. Nothing, no further response from this vet. I called the vet in Saranac Lake and was told this was an urgent matter. They saved my dogs life. This vet doesn't seem to care if it's urgent or not. Rumors are TRUE, better off going to a different vet!

Could not ask for a better experience with Dr Scranton! Wasn’t sure what we would find while visiting the area from out of town, but needed an urgent appointment. Dr Scranton was fantastic!

I recently transferred care of my 10 year old Bichon to Lakeside vet clinic after losing his brother to an after hours emergency. It was during that emergency that I learned our former vet did not offer after hours emergency care. He died minutes after we arrived in Burlington.Following this tragedy, I made it my mission to find a practice that would be available in our time of need, even it it was a Sunday at 3 in the afternoon. After calling around to various local vet practices, I realized not many offer this service these days.Luckily, my son and daughter in law recommended this practice in Tupper Lake. They have used this clinic for several years and are satisfied pet owners. We have had our first appointment to establish care and the intake exam was very thorough. The staff was professional in every way. At the end of the visit, I felt we had made the right choice with this practice. The best part of this is that I have piece of mind that if something happens to our dog after normal business hours, I will be able to reach the veterinarian and be seen if needed.
