Visitors can take a tour to learn all about alpacas, walking among them in an open field or through their pasture, larger pens, housing, and nursery area. The alpacas are raised for show at fairs, with many ribbons displayed. The farm is a large family homestead, and families with kids especially enjoy seeing the variety of farm animals, including alpacas, horses, donkeys, goats, Polish chickens, and cats. A special highlight is Elwood, their beautiful and very well cared for special needs alpaca, who is very sweet. A nice bonus is the family-run wagon ride. After the tour, visitors can go into the gift shop, which offers all kinds of alpaca wool items, clothes, and other items, including plush dolls. It is a wonderful way to spend an hour on a beautiful day and an opportunity to pick up some quality gifts. Visitors are completely won over by the alpacas' gentleness, cuteness, and softness. It is a wonderful local gem to visit and support.
