I suffer with an Acute Anxiety condition. I can honestly say that my anxiety symptoms were not triggered even once. Ellen Miranda and Phil Rasile were awesome-never felt pressured. Ellen was great AND SO PATIENT when introducing me to my controls, as I also have a Severe case of ADHD!!! I am SO pleased! ?

Recently bought a 2020 Honda CR-V @ Rensselaer. I had an excellent sales experience with Kevin Sanchez, and took delivery of the car in a timely, complete, + friendly manner. Great place to buy a car.

Purchasing my new 2023 Ridgeline was smooth and quick. The only issue I had was when I went to get my first oil change. My truck has 6,500 miles on it and when I purchased it I was told that I get 4 oil changes but they have to be completed before I hit 24,000 miles. So I talked with the salesman and said that I would bring it in every 6,000 miles and he said that would be totally fine. Last week I called service and spoke with someone and again we talked about spacing it out every 6,000 miles so I get all four oil changes before I hit 24,000 miles. Well I brought it in today and one of the service advisors said that they can’t do the oil change because my oil life isn’t at 15%. I told him about both my previous conversations and also I didn’t think getting my first oil change at 11 or 12,000 miles is a good idea. He said that he would do it this time but not after this. I told him it would be impossible to get 4 oil changes within 24,000 miles with this “new policy” and he said there isn’t anything he could do. Then I asked if there was a manager I could just speak about it with and he said no. Crazy to think that You spend over 40k on a vehicle and you can’t say when you want your oil changes performed.

I had the best experience buying my car at Rensselaer Honda, Dan Durivage was the sales associate who helped me getting my car and he was extremely helpful, he made my life easier, he took care of every detail and no just that but also he was very knowledgeable regarding the car features and the process. Ellen Miranda explained me and helped me to set up the amenities in the car she was the best knowing from head to toe of my car. Kerry Scanlon explained the safety and financial matters, I felt very safe with his wisdom and taking the time to explain step by step. And last but no least Dianne Vanwoert was a key part helping coordinating and following up with me. If you are looking for a car this is the place that you want to do it, they also took care the registration, license my loan, everything!!! I just got the car of my choice and then went to picked it up, a boutique service that every buyer deserves. Very professional! Thank you!!!!

Completely changed our mentality in regards to the car buying process. They were accommodating, answered our questions, were incredibly kind and friendly with our children and had us in and out as quick as they could. Definitely recommend, especially Hemma! She was the reason for all the above comments.

I recently had a tire rotation service on my 2013 Honda Accord. Prior to the services I had no issues. I requested a tire balance/ rotation service as well as a plug put in a tire. The plug does not appear to be any issue. After the balance/ rotation however, I felt a steering wheel wobble after highway driving with braking, and louder road noise. I made another appointment to get it checked. I was informed that the tech observed that the wheel was bent into the barrel of the wheel at the last appointment but was not relayed to me. The wheel were rotated and I was sent on my way. There is still a shake in the wheel when braking however. It is less but there is still an issue.Overall I am not happy with the service I have received. I had no issues going in, and had issues when leaving. I have had a prior issues with services for past preventative maintenance at Rensselaer Honda before this, and after ongoing issues, I won’t be back. I would like a refund but that unfortunately won’t resolve these ongoing issues. I even contacted the service manager to no response. I would recommend anyone to go elsewhere for service.08/14/2023: Went to a different mechanic who checked my vehicle after still having issues with vibration. The wheels/tires were not properly balanced. I was also informed that I will need a front brake replacement soon. Tech there showed me on the balance machine as well as the brakes themselves. Vehicle drives a lot better now. They did confirm the bent rim but did actually rotate the tires and kept the bent rim in the rear. I do not believe Honda damaged my vehicle in anyway. I do not believe that the “multi-point inspection” was really completed and a lot of things were missed. I wouldn’t recommend Rensselaer Honda.

Good sales guy. Bad car. Expensive. No support. Although we just bought the car under 2 weeks ago and we bought a protection plan that he really did a hard sell on, the protection plan. Apparently doesn't pay for the car to be towed to the dealer, My husband spent 3 hours on the phone, and they did not give us a loaner car.I don't have a car for work tomorrow. My kid does not have a car to practice on so that he can get his license so he can drive himself to school. We spent the day of there instead of with the family that needed us.That guy told us it was above his pay grade. He sent us on to the guy in the shop area to get us a rental... They couldn't do it... I suspect he was just trying to get rid of us before 5:00 even though he was the reason it took so freaking long to get in there. Hope you slept well last night,M, I didn't.Another sales guy walked by me as I was looking at other cars online... As you do, when you're worried that you have a lemon and that they're going to tell you, you can't have it repaired and he said interesting and walked on. If it was my phone screen he was interested in... Yes, very interesting. Especially when somebody else is looking at your phone screen.myob and Maybe think about what might be happening instead of opening your mouth.keep your thoughts to yourself instead of judging your customer. Some of the comments when I was buying the car too were less than kind, and a bit misogynistic Even though I think he thought he was being hilarious.. The sales guy though he was nice. They don't deserve him.To the owner, you should be ashamed of the place you run, and the culture you encourage . I will Ensure that none of my friends ever shop there. The only time you have a good experience is if you get a good deal and you don't have to deal with you guys too much because if you have to deal with any of you people it's awful.Hopefully your company resolving this issue with my car isn't dependent on me pretending that you all have done nothing wrong. Thanks for ruining the last days of my husband's vacation and our ability to prep for what's coming up and have a good time. ?? This blows!.

I feel compelled to share my disheartening experience with Rensselaer Honda, where I was subjected to an outright scam aimed at women. As a female customer, I was taken advantage of and coerced into unnecessary repairs on my vehicle. It is imperative that others be aware of this dealership's unethical practices. From the moment I stepped foot into Rensselaer Honda, I was greeted with seemingly friendly staff. However, it quickly became evident that their intentions were far from genuine. As a woman, I expected to be treated with respect and fairness, but instead, I was manipulated into authorizing repairs that were entirely unnecessary. The so-called "service advisors" at Rensselaer Honda exploited my lack of automotive knowledge, preying on my vulnerability. They employed deceptive tactics and employed scare tactics to convince me that my vehicle required immediate repairs that were exorbitantly priced. Their aim was clear: to profit off my ignorance and lack of confidence in my automotive understanding.Despite expressing doubts about the urgency of the repairs, the staff at Rensselaer Honda insisted on the immediate execution of the work, refusing to provide a detailed explanation or show me any evidence to support their claims. They disregarded my concerns, effectively leaving me with no choice but to authorize the repairs. To add insult to injury, I later sought a second opinion from a reputable mechanic who specializes in my vehicle make. Shockingly, they confirmed that the repairs performed by Rensselaer Honda were entirely unnecessary. It became apparent that Rensselaer Honda had shamelessly taken advantage of me, exploiting my trust and gender to boost their profits. This experience has left me feeling violated and deeply disappointed. Rensselaer Honda's actions are not only unethical but also reinforce harmful stereotypes about women and their knowledge of automobiles. As a customer, I expected transparency, honesty, and fair treatment, but Rensselaer Honda failed on all accounts.I strongly urge all women to be cautious when dealing with Rensselaer Honda. Educate yourself about your vehicle's maintenance needs, seek second opinions, and never succumb to their pressure tactics. It is essential that we stand together against such deceptive practices and protect ourselves from being manipulated by unscrupulous businesses. To Rensselaer Honda, I implore you to reevaluate your business practices, respect your customers, and put an end to these predatory behaviors. As a dealership, you have a responsibility to uphold integrity, honesty, and fairness. Failing to do so not only tarnishes your reputation but also harms unsuspecting individuals.I sincerely hope that my review serves as a cautionary tale and encourages others to think twice before trusting Rensselaer Honda. Let us collectively demand accountability and fairness from the businesses we patronize.

I am writing to report a distressing incident involving Rensselaer Honda, a car dealership that I believe has engaged in unethical practices, specifically targeting women and coercing them into unnecessary vehicle repairs. I feel it is essential to bring this matter to your attention and seek your assistance in addressing this issue promptly.\nAs a customer of Rensselaer Honda, I recently experienced firsthand the deceptive tactics employed by their staff to exploit unsuspecting female customers. During my visit to their dealership, I was subjected to a distressing encounter where I felt coerced and manipulated into authorizing unnecessary repairs on my vehicle.\nIt is deeply disheartening to realize that, in this day and age, gender-based exploitation continues to persist within the automotive industry. The actions of Rensselaer Honda not only undermine the trust between consumers and businesses but also perpetuate harmful stereotypes and inequalities. I firmly believe that no individual, regardless of their gender, should be taken advantage of or subjected to such manipulative practices.\nI kindly request that the Better Business Bureau conduct a thorough investigation into the practices of Rensselaer Honda to determine the extent of their fraudulent behavior. I am confident that your organization's intervention will shed light on this matter and hold Rensselaer Honda accountable for their actions.\nI kindly urge the Better Business Bureau to take swift action against Rensselaer Honda, not only to seek justice for myself but also to prevent further harm to unsuspecting customers. It is my hope that through your intervention, the necessary steps will be taken to ensure that Rensselaer Honda is held accountable for their actions, implement corrective measures, and provide appropriate compensation to those affected.
