This place is a SCAM! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! BEWARE! They towed over 30 cars in Troy outside the Farmer's Mkt-NO SIGNS. They put a sign up after lot was FULL. Nasty, swore at people telling them to F'off. Told people if they argued or showed photos of lot having no signs posted they would not give them their cars. Person who owns this company should be ashamed of scamming people! They charged $350 CASH - no CC because they had no power LIES!

After towing my car in what felt like a scam, a woman at the tow yard tried to force me to pay cash for the release of my vehicle. My experience with Phil's Automotive felt very shady and dishonest; I would not recommend their services.

!!!WARNING!!!
If you need a tow service in Troy, do not call Phil’s automotive. I got an accident during a snowing day and the police called them to tow my car. When I tried to get my car out from their place the next day, they charged me $1,058 and told me I could only pay in cash. How come a tow service can cost $1,058 and even asked you to pay in cash? The woman who talked with me was extremely rude and churlish. She kept saying that they used two trucks to get my sedan out of the embankment. How is that possible as my car was only 30 feet away from the road. I gave her the money eventually since I did not want to get charged another $80/day for storage fee. BE CAREFUL!!!

Very professional . I Highly recommend them. These people have all the modern tools that a dealership would have to get the job done properly. And they have the long-term experience. Experience is the best tool you could have. Trust me. These guys know what they’re doing. I wouldn’t look no farther.

My car had broken down, I called Phil's for a tow, the woman who answered the phone and the gentleman who came to pick up my car was very polite, kind and very customer oriented. I was told the truck would be at my location within 39 minutes and they were right on time. I will only use Phil's for a tow from now on.

Let me tell you about Phil. I've been to numerous mechanics through my years and I have never met a more honest and trustworthy mechanic other than this gentleman. His amazing at what he does. Anybody that has had work done by him will agree with me. But im sure I don't have to tell you guys all this, as he is very well known around our town with a wonderful reputation. Thanks for your hard work Phil. Our family appreciates you!!

Phil's towed my son's car at 9pm on a Friday night. They were there in minutes after I called. The price was definitely reasonable and the staff helpful and friendly.

Our packed-for-college Toyota van started to overheat at the end of a long drive from Michigan. It was rainy and dark, Friday night, and we were four travelers plus a dog. On similar occasions I've been stuck for the weekend.The gas station clerk recommended Phil'a. It was close, he said, and they had worked on his car before. They had a reputation for helping people who were far from home. Connor came and towed our car. He was pleasant, affable, good-humored, indulgent, and his manner helped to put me at ease. He told me probably his boss would look at it in the morning and hopefully they could diagnose and fix it by the afternoon.That's exactly what happened. By late Saturday afternoon I paid a very fair price for the repair and towing, and drove away feeling tremendously lucky and grateful. John the mechanic even seemed a little abashed that he'd messed up his addition and nearly overcharged me by 22 cents! Friendly, honest, capable, decent, kind. Thanks very much indeed, guys.

Quite possibly one of the most unprofessional places I've ever been involved with. I wouldn't let them work on my cars, if they were the last mechanics on the planet. Someone in the desert, never seen a car & riding camels could do a better job.
