I lived in Park Ridge for a few years while I was a student at RPI. Overall, a very nice place to live:- The apartments are very large with lots of closet and storage space- Management is very responsive and maintenance requests are almost always solved same-day- The neighborhood is very clean and well maintained - the greenery is pleasant and well manicured- Central AC and heat worked well- Proximity to the park is nice, its nice to easily be able to go for a walk in the park

All things considered, I give this place a 5-star. This is what was great with this place:-Lawn was nice. Residents (or Park Ridge) keep the lawn clean from dog messes (as far as I saw).-Responsive with maintenance issues.-Full refund after a year despite not having professional cleaners to come in to clean.-Central AC worked well (and quiet!)-Large closets.-Large living room.-Reasonably priced rent.

I was corresponding with one of their agents while looking for a place in Troy and was very pleased to work with Lexi. She was very responsive and helpful which I highly appreciated given how stressful it is to be an applicant in this market. She answered my (many) questions quickly and with lots of helpful information. I ended up committing to a different apartment community, but I think Park Ridge deserves my 5 stars for how delightful their representative was to me during my correspondence with their office!

Nice apartments .. i will definitely recommend townhouse rather then the other apartments coz there is some sort of smell at the common lobby .. or stairs whatever it is...

I was very pleased with my time in the apartments! The staff would come out with no hesitation, anytime I had a question or concern. The hallways and laundry room are always kept clean. My apartment was clean and all appliances worked. The neighborhood is up kept! If I didn’t purchase my home ( wanted to be a home owner) Park Ridge would have still been my home.

My roommate and I loved living here. Right before we moved in they put in new carpets, appliances, and refinished the bathroom. The maintenance staff are really diligent about keeping the gardens and walkways nice. Every time we called them to fix something they showed up within a half hour and were always very helpful. Amaris is the property manager and is very friendly and accommodating. If you call and she picks up you know that she will get things right. My only suggestion is that they improve the common areas in the building, they could use some new paint and carpets. Overall, we had a great time here and only left because we had to because of work. Absolutely would recommend living here if you can (especially as an RPI student)!

I lived at Park Ridge for nearly 8 years and met with a number of staff members who took care of my requests. My apartment was a really nice size and, I added my own personal touches from painting to outdoor decor for my patio. Their corporate office was always accommodating to reach agreements for whatever my situation and, that trickled down to the property staff being very understanding. The Pros:- Attentive staff- Apartment size/layout- Being on the 3rd floor for more privacy and outdoor views- Not having the utility room in the apartment- Indoor hallway - great for deliveries- Close to shopping- Private property that leads to a public golf course- Having updated appliancesCons:- Very thin walls, due to the age of the buildings; noise travels- No locks on the entry doors; would feel more secure if they did- Hallways/stairwells could use updating- Parking can be a bit of a challenge- Some buildings had higher turnover of tenants- Rent increase, every year even though I was told that that was not the case when I signed my lease. The office did work with me if needed

Ridiculous policy. They need 30 days to proceed your fee removal request and you have to pay for the extra cost during their process time and never expect any refund for what you shouldn't pay.But when it comes to add/increase your fee, they can finish it in a week and you don't need to worry about you might be taking their advantage. Not gonna happen, they will add to your next bill.
