Dr. Rice was extremely disrespectful. He was 20 minutes late to our scheduled appointment because he was finishing his lunch break. He then proceeded to completely dismiss my concerns about my pets separation anxiety, saying “I won’t sedate a dog because you want to leave the house”. It appeared that he was assuming I wasn’t full time employee because of my age. He instead said that my pets anxiety was caused by a lack of care and exercise. I took his recommendation seriously, then discovered my dog wasn’t gaining weight because of how extensively I was exercising him in an attempt to alleviate his symptoms. Additionally when asking Dr. Rice if he could write down the name of a product he recommended, he responded, “you have a phone don’t you”. I believe that Dr. Rice felt he could talk to me disrespectfully because I’m a young woman. It was to the extent where vet techs were apologizing as they checked me out. If you’re a young woman looking to take your pet here, I would suggest asking to see a doctor other than Dr. Rice.

When our dog collapsed in the park, we had no idea what was wrong. Miller got us in quickly and got to the bottom of his heart condition. They provided excellent care and were honest about his prognosis, without pushing us to make any decisions regarding his care. The doctors and staff at Miller always went the extra mile to take our phone calls or get back to us quickly if we left a voicemail. We are so appreciative to have worked with Miller Animal Hospital.

We have been taking our dogs here for almost 3 years. Dr. Rice and the practice overall are incredible! All of the staff we have encountered are intelligent, kind and respectful. We always feel taken care of and valued as clients. Our animals get the best care at Miller Animal Hospital. We highly recommend this practice to our friends and family.

I have to give miller animal hospital a 5 star! They are my new vet for my louie boy! The way they love and show and compassion for their clients make me never want to go to anyone else. Dr.Rice was amazing! Gave lots of information and took his time understanding what was going on and I didn't feel rushed. He also has an amazing team that you can tell loves what they do! I recommend anyone to take there fur baby to miller animal hospital. you won't be disappointed!

They have updated their 'patient' rooms and add the 'dog house' out building for med pick up.

I have nothing but positive things to say about them we have had them for years and truthfully you will not find a better vet. Dr. Kimmel and her husband is number one in the capital district and the staff is so kind and caring you can truly see that they love there job and i am so fortunate to find them as my vet.

Friendly, hard working vets and staff. Dr. Kimmel has always put pets first. They do get pretty busy, so just be reasonable when booking an appointment.
