Friendly, hard working vets and staff. Dr. Kimmel has always put pets first. They do get pretty busy, so just be reasonable when booking an appointment.

Every business has a few quirks and it's up to each individual as to how much you put up with. We've had a couple at Miller Animal Hospital (MAH) but at the end of the day, it's about the quality of care that our pups are getting. We know that their health and well-being are the top priority at MAH. Dr. Rice takes as much time as we need to examine our pups, answer our questions, and provide thorough and easy-to-understand assessments, guidance, and suggestions to us. The clinical and support staff here are just as great...and believe me, we put them through their paces. They're not the closest. Their not the fanciest. But they are the best!

Dr. Rice and the vet technicians are friendly and thorough in their care of my dogs. They have consistently provided high quality and responsive care. The office staff however are unprofessional and rude to the customers. There is a lack of empathy or willingness to assist both in crisis or routine. I will be finding a new vet.

All the doctors here are great. Competent and compassionate. They helped us through challenging times with our older Shihtzu mix rescue.

I've never written a Yelp review before so I'm hoping that disclaimer shows that I don't make it a habit to go out of my way to speak ill of a business. That being said, I and my family have been bringing our animals to Miller AH for years but my mother recently switched due to several poor visits with Dr. Rice, but I felt loyal to the practice and did not want to make the switch. I absolutely love Dr. Brower and I have had nothing but amazing service from him. It is difficult to get an appointment with Dr. Brower so I agreed to see Dr. Rice for a second time even though my first experience with him wasn't the greatest. He continues to be dismissive, judgmental, and rushed. It appears as if he is dying to get through the appointment as fast as possible, while also making no effort to actually listen or make an effort to understand the information given to him. He has an "I'm the professional and you're not attitude" and it's really off putting. I'm a therapist, so I'm very aware of how a client and provider interaction should ideally go and he consistently misses the mark. It's my hope that

Sir Wallace the Wonderful is a rescue of unknown age. I have had the gift of being his caretaker for 8.5 years. A recent wellness visit found Wallace to be in early renal failure. I was instructed in how to give fluids at home. Wallace took a turn despite my efforts and I brought him back on an emergency basis. I was touch by the care and effort to give Wallace his best chance. Dr. Rice gave him an appetite stimulant and an anti-nausea shot in the hope of prolonged wellness. I am grateful for the time the vet tech took to teach me about giving fluids and very grateful to Dr. Rice for his concern and care to do the best for Mr Wallace. I want to add the charges were reasonable and the atmosphere at Miller's is very compassionate and professional. Thank you.

No emergency appointments available. Hard to hear when your furbaby is sick and they can't see you until next week.

By far the best vet in the area and an awesome guy. Has gone out of his way on numerous occasions to make sure my pup has been well taken care of.

Went above and beyond as we were new pet owners and unsure of the process. Put the well being of the animal above all else. Would highly recommend.

I've been bring pets here since I was a kid, and even though I now live in Clifton Park, I still bring my cat here. They were also very kind and compassionate when I lost my kitty last year. All the vets here are wonderful.

We have seen many vets over the years. These folks are the best! They are caring, compassionate, and very knowledgeable. And the big plus is that my dog actually loves going there!

I have only used the large animal side of Miller Animal Hospital but can absolutely attest to the care my horse has received in the past as well as last night by Dr. Rice and her husband. My horse had a case of colic last night that I wasn't able to get him through without medical intervention. I called and within the hour I had the vet at my barn door, ready to help my horse. My horse needed a lot of care and Dr. Rice was fantastic. She didn't give up and did everything in her power to make my horse more comfortable as well as get him back to his normal self. I cannot thank her and her husband enough! Their dedication to animals is fantastic and I will use them for all of my small and large animal care needs in the future! I highly recommend checking them out!

The vet I spoke to is very sarcastic. I would prefer to work with someone who is kind. This place is a lot cheaper than others and there are coupons online though.
