I door dash as a second job and I must compliment the Troy,New York Dollar General . Jessica or Melanie has been such a big help in the past and currently still very helpful with everything. She is kind has great customer service and keeps the store in shape. She is very motivated and egar to help the customers even if it doesn’t have to do with purchasing products at the store I know from experience she’s a breath of fresh air. She sets a great example for the other employees in the capital district. The store has been very cleanly and is always stocked. As I said I door dash for a second job and have been to most of the dollar generals in the area and even out of state this is the best one this far. Keep up the great work and thank you for all your help.

Great discount store!the store can be a bit crowded at times because of short staffed and merchandise not put on shelves and left right in the walkway

Went to shop there around 8:45 pm on 10/3/23. "Original Store Sign" states they are open until 10 pm every day. A "Hand Written Sign" states they closed at 8 pm today. Does their corporate office know they are closing early? ??? In all actuality, it doesn't matter, I, the customer, went down the street and spent my hard earned money at CVS!!! ?

So all the 6 pack sodas were on sale 3 for $12 and I purchased 3 . I got Fanta orange ginger ale and Pepsi.Dollar general says you can’t get different brands you must choose 1 brand although it’s specified on the price tag that you can choose a variety. They said no you must buy 1 brand . I asked who was the General manager and was told they don’t know both mangers were clueless at 6:15 on December 26 2022 this is unexceptable.

I’m sorry this place is an insane HAZARD. There is junk covering the isles you can’t even shop. It looks like this every day. Playing vulgar rap music loud at 12:30 on a Friday. Is there no management?
