“Lovely atmosphere with background music, excellent lighting, clean, safe, polite. I bought foods, furniture wheels and slidders, windshield wiper fluid, etc. Prices were reasonable. Service was great- the tram member took me to where my requested item was. The store was well organized. I enjoy shopping here. Nice, flat parking lot with lots of spaces and shopping cart availability. An enjoyable visit. The overhead messages encouraged us to buy food and coats for those who need them, and on return we could spend the same amount on other items for ourselves.”

Jennifer kindly created this beautiful balloon bouquet interactively over the phone selecting the products online with me while i sat across the coast in CA for my sons birthday to be delivered local using an instacart order i created.Jennifer was so kind and SUPER CREATIVE and HELPFUL! The price is a fraction from ordering from anywhere ! I think the store should advertise "ballon bouquet" as a paid service on instacart as i paid barely 12.50 all inclusive for the product and extra $ to instacart total $21 for this bouquet! “Went in there store today and I was verbally assaulted had to wait in line 15 minutes just so I could be treated like I was taking up too much of the cashiers time no worries I would drive to ny city before I ever go in this disorganized store again I don’t want to give this store any stars the food is old the frozen food is freezer burnt be careful purchasing there stuff besides them dollars add up and you end up with a lot of worthless merchandise”

“I door dash as a second job and I must compliment the Troy,New York Dollar General . Jessica or Melanie has been such a big help in the past and currently still very helpful with everything. She is kind has great customer service and keeps the store in shape. She is very motivated and egar to help the customers even if it doesn’t have to do with purchasing products at the store I know from experience she’s a breath of fresh air. She sets a great example for the other employees in the capital district. The store has been very cleanly and is always stocked. As I said I door dash for a second job and have been to most of the dollar generals in the area and even out of state this is the best one this far. Keep up the great work and thank you for all your help.
