5 days to refill a Metformin prescription. Again, I can't get a prescription filled in a timely manor. Once again I'm going to have to deal with the negative effects of missed medication and restarting. It is pathetic that I have to babysit a pharmacy to maintain continuity in my treatment regime. I have to suffer because a major corporation is too cheap to properly staff their pharmacy and simple maintenance medications can not get refilled on time.

The location of the cvs always makes it harder but I feel they are doing there best to keep it clean friendly and I am glad they finally have security checking receipts. They were fast with getting my prescription

The space is disorganized and messy. The service is not on par with other CVS locations. A customer service representative who was stocking the shelves would not allow me to move down the aisle because they were not finish stocking the shelves although there was room for me to get buy if she just shifted a bit

Just came back from my first Covid appointment at this CVS. Let's start with the location... They are not (as it said in my email) located at 49 Fourth Street. 49 Fourth St is a locked up abandoned mall with no CVS in sight. Once I arrived, the store had a line of about 30 people with no ventilation and only one pharmacist giving shots. Maybe there was ventilation, but a feather dropped from shoulder height fell straight to the floor. After an hour when the line was getting longer, they added a second person giving shots and things sped up. My appointment meant nothing. There was time to price their merchandise against other local stores, and they are in some cases twice the price. Shame on them for taking advantage of the locals.Contrast this with any area Market 32. Clean, on-time, well ventilated, no line, no crowd.

Terrible, staff member had an attitude on the phone. Long lines 97% of the time. Not worth your time. One register open 24/7.

As a graduate student at RPI without a car, this is a great and convenient location to pick up prescriptions. Too bad the pharmacy is unwilling to accommodate to patients who require non-generic prescriptions. My OB/GYN has me on a hormonal medication for severe menstrual symptoms. I am unable to take the generic due to severe changes in mood, upset stomach, and depression. This pharmacy has tried to put me on a generic twice since they've had my prescription on record, even though my doctor has told them to fill ONLY with the preferred non-generic that works for me.

This week, the pharmacy called to tell me they were special ordering my medication and it would be ready by the next day. The next day I got a call saying that the pharmacy "cannot get ahold of this medication" and that I needed to call them back. When I did, the woman who I spoke to on the phone told me that she was going to try to special order the medication for me. I told her that this has already been done and someone else on the phone told me it wasn't possible. She put me on hold and returned saying I needed to go to a different CVS that stocks that medication. I asked her why the CVS in Troy is unable to stock a medication that another pharmacy regularly orders. All she said was, "I don't know." Sounds to me like whoever is in charge doesn't feel like going out of their way to accommodate patients who CANNOT take generic medications. My OB/GYN has called them twice to fix this issue by telling them to order a year's worth of prescription so that I can pick it up each month. At the time, they told my doctor that that option was completely possible and they would take care of it. Each time, they have called me and told me they "can't find the medication anywhere and can't order it." I know this is not the case because the CVS in Newton Plaza stocks this medication regularly. Giving two stars because the staff is usually friendly and the selection of beauty products, etc. is decent.

This pharmacy never has your prescription ready even if you call days in advance. The lines are terribly long and it seems as if it's only one register open. They are very rude and really don't help you. it seems as if they don't have a lot of medications in stock

Upon calling to check if my mom's life sustaining medication was ready and I was rudely cut off, told that they are 3 days behind on prescriptions. I informed the pharmacist that is patient neglect. They had ample time to fill my mom's scripts. I was told that I shouldn't tell them how to do their job. However, three days behind on medication is not professional. I would suggest hiring more proficient pharmacist who know how to stay up to date and current. Kathleen Carlton was rude and inefficient. I would deem her incompetent in her profession.
