I came to this salon because every time I go to the salon I have the same issue I feel judge for the thickness of my hair but it’s a hair salon LOL if you hate your job maybe find something your passionate about because not every client that comes through the door will have baby thin hair some of us actually have thick hair at that I have alopecia so it is MUCH thinner than it ever was and the man still found slick remarks but I let them slide and just laughed it off while feeling uncomfortable anyways long story short I paid about after tip 300 for about 2 inches of hair to come off and for about 5 strands of hair dye I wanted a half hair blonde and he completely talked me out of it while doing my hair not understanding that’s actually the look that I came in wanting and made me feel crazy … “oh get a wig” excuse me .. good thing I found a salon that can do my hair correctly how I wanted it done the first time and listened to me when I walked through the door I didn’t feel rushed I felt heard I thought this would be the salon iv been waiting for but when he made a comment of charging me 1000 to dye my hair I almost choked.
At that he couldn’t even blow dry my hair or straighten it he made a comment I bet you don’t straighten your hair takes to long no takes about a good 30 minutes anyways I left with my hair WET not what I wanted but I caught the vibe and got the hell out of there if you have nice hair don’t go here lol

Incredible salon! I've been seen by both Stacy and Christopher and I've always walked away feeling amazing!
Both me and my partner come here and would absolutely recommend them to anyone. Every stylist I've had takes the time to understand what I want, make sure I like what I walk away with, and the environment is very chill!

Danesca is fabulous. Before coming here, I was skeptical of any stylist touching my hair after some bad experiences of going too short than I wanted. Danesca took my input and does exactly what I want for my hair. Very nice salon too. Will continue to get my hair trimmed here - just wish I had half the post-cut styling ability Danesca has in between visits.

Best salon in the Capital Region, they do hair unbelievably well at fair prices. Professional, friendly, accommodating, talented staff; clean, accessible, comfortable, well-stocked shop. Although I love Stacey, everyone here is a super, top-notch stylist, you will have a good experience with anyone you work with. This may sound like an over-the-top review, but I'm very fussy about my hair, cut and color have to be on-point for work. Christopher Brian Salon hasn't let me down yet!

Christopher is a great hair stylist! He did a beautiful job with my daughter hair that wasn’t the ñ best shape and she ends up with a beautiful, healthy and shiny hair and with a huge smile in her face. He listen to what my daughter wanted to do to her hair and taking in consideration that, he work in the best possible way to pleased her and do what is was the best way to go to fix her hair. Thank you for your professionalism, patience, caring understanding .. We do recommend him or any of his staff members to everyone who want to have great haircut and a great hair salon experience..THANK YOU!!!!

One star for lack of professionalism and poor hair experience. If you aren’t of a left leaning political persuasion be prepared to be made very uncomfortable with the conservative bashing banter that goes on between the owner and other stylists while getting your hair styled. As for my hair experience it also was disappointing with poor layering attempt, hair color that came out way too dark and highlights that’s didn’t take. Felt very rushed.

The best salon experience! Christopher has done my hair a few times now and I already feel like he knows me so well. I explain what I am looking for and show him a quick picture and he just totally gets it. He even suggested something extra for the haircut this last appointment based on my initial request and it came out absolutely stunning - nothing I would have ever been able to ask for, not knowing what looks good on me. Now I know! The atmosphere is welcoming, friendly and fun! Everyone is so nice and conversations flow so easily throughout the salon. It’s not a dreaded salon visit when I go, unlike other salons I’ve been to where it’s too loud, too busy or just takes up my whole day. It’s actually an enjoyable, calming experience at his salon. The prices are reasonable as well for the high level of skill and professionalism!
