This used to be a good store. But when you lock up every single tool, blade, fitting and supply behind a locked glass and only have 2 workers in the store… I’ll shop elsewhere. Most trade workers are on the clock. We don’t have time to wait for someone to hold our hand while shopping for necessary items to get the job done. You’ve lost a customer! Home Depot, Lowes, Harbor Freight and Tractor supply are all within 7 miles. Convenience is everything in retail.

The entire store is over priced. Went looking for a bag of concrete and it was almost double what you can get it for at Home Depot. I asked one of the attendant if they price matched and he told me no (7/3/23). I'm hearing a Home Depot is going to be built on hoosic street, thank God. I always try to support local but these guys are just robbing people.Ace Hardware in store price $11.99 and online $9.99.Home Depot Latham $6.71

Staff had some trouble programming a key for my Toyota, but stuck with it and finally got it done. Unprompted, they gave me a discount for the delay.

I went in for a specific fan/ heater that I needed and found online after looking at several places including Walmart. When I got there I was charged $10 more than what was posted online. When I walked in the story. I was immediately followed and asked several times if I needed assistance. I purchased 2 other items during the process of complaining about the change in price. I would have left everything if I hadn't taken an Uber to get there and had several packages AND can't due to illness. I will never shop there again. This entire process to approximately 40min due to the 2 people acting as cashiers, however unsure how to assist me with my potential purchases.

Nice place however as much a craft store as it is a hardware store . More convenient that wandering through the big box stores but expect to pay more for the convenience.

I really enjoy walking around the store to see what's new on the shelves and racks.This is my favorite time of year with all of the plants in the garden section.I had a couple of gift coupons for from ACE for my birthday and I was able to use them.(Thank you )

I bought a Dewalt impact driver on ACE hardwares website and for 107 dollars. When I went to pick up my drill at the store I was told they put it back on the shelf. Then they tried to charge me 160 dollars for the same drill.

Always a good experience, but you will pay higher prices for certain things that are cheaper at Lowe's or Home Depot, but a great store.

Called ahead regarding renting a chipper, before driving there with $4.50 gas. Lady said the chipper was there. Got to this store only to have the kid looking high and low. No chipper was rented according to "the system " but it wasn't there. No chipper, no apologies, no problem not returning here. Poor customer service

The (admittedly kind and well-meaning) employees were bumbling and incompetent when it came to processing the rental I needed. It took 20+ minutes and 5 associates to successfully operate the software and get me to check out. After waiting this time and being repeatedly quoted a given price for the rental, a deposit fee I was not told about prior (again, despite inquiring about the price repeatedly) was tacked on, making the rental simply too expensive for a student like me. Go to Lowe's in Latham. They at least know what they're doing, unlike our carhartt cosplaying friends here.

Not a bad store they have a Lotta knickknacks and items. How many times I have to plead to get somebody to help me. In comparison, I mean over and over again. I think they could help you out more by bringing your items out to your car or assisting you better. The prices are definitely somewhat higher than other value stores. When you have issues and you request to speak with a manager, your phone calls are not returned. That says a lot.
