I’m a regular Tops shopper, but this store has the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. This store is close to my home, but I won’t shop here again. I’d rather drive a bit further to another Tops than deal with the incompetent employees at this location. It isn’t all of the employees by any means, but the one I encountered today certainly was. With the amount of money I spend at Tops on a weekly basis, I shouldn’t be questioned about whether I payed for my .5 paper bag when I was the only one using self checkout, and the girl was hovering like a hawk and could clearly hear the register saying “1”. At first I thought she was joking, because the sound on the register was so loud, the customers 50 feet away probably heard it. To be spoke to in that manner, accused of stealing a paper bag in front of other customers, is over the top wrong. I usually bring my own bags but I’ve never not payed for a paper bag when I’ve needed one. You could have simply asked to see my receipt, which would have showed my bag purchase. Hopefully management at this location will train their employees in proper customer service soon before too many customers are lost.

i got accused of stealing a 5¢ paper bag today. asked to see our receipts and was given attitude despite clearly hitting the purchase bags button in her eye sight. will never shop at a tops again that was ridiculous.

Standard chain of grocery store. Always disappointed in how quickly the produce spoils.

Only convenience is served here. But with steep prices and poor selection, have to dig for fresh produce through half rotten stock. deli staff acts offended if you ask for fresh sliced deli meat if they have 2 day old meat in a open cooler.

Awful. I wanted to buy a cake or cookie cake that says happy birthday. I saw the bare cakes and grabbed one. Waited at the counter for 15 minutes while the lady starred at me and frosted a cake. Said nothing. This place sucks! Go to wegmans I guess

I love tops on Young Street. I'm there just about everyday. I like my stuff fresh and that's never a problem. I get along with everybody there and most employees would recognize me. Probably not by name .But I go to the deli and I order lunch meat ham for sandwiches 3/4 of a pound . Ham for sandwiches. A pound is more than 10 slices. They slice, it so thick cuz they don't want to move their arm back and forth a whole bunch of times. and then the guy gets confrontational he says and I quote. I don't care. I just cut it to get you out the door. Then after exchanging some words I just take the ham which I will be returning tomorrow. Maybe it's time for somebody 80 plus years old to retire if they don't care.. again my name is Paul koszuta. I've been coming to the store for 25 plus years. First time I felt I needed to post something.

Clean and organized. They have hot food that you can eat there or take home. Liked the variety in the deli.

Went to get gas at the gas station. Dude at the register didn’t even speak to me, just gave me an annoyed look and condescendingly tapped the sign that said they closed at 10:00 pm…. It was 10:04 pm.
Like, just say “sorry, we’re closed” my dude.
