I went to this salon for many years when it was named Solar Nails and owned by Judy. Last year Judy sold her business to someone and became an “employee”. I stuck with her because she does the BEST acrylic nails ever. The last week of December, I arrived for my appointment and found the salon closed and the furniture inside removed. Judy had anpp apparently been kicked to the curb.I vowed not to ever give them my business. Today, I had a moment of weakness and called for an appointment. The listed phone number went directly to voice mail with a garbled message, and it was full. Fine. I’m going to House of Nails. It also appears that the new owner co-opted this Google listing so that they can take advantage of Judy’s great reviews. Unbelievable! I’m so glad to take my business to another Tonawanda salon.

I love this place. Kim has done an amazing job each time ive gone. She is attentive, friendly, and excellent at what she does. Its a whole vibe walking in. So relaxing and inviting. Kim will be my forever nail tech. ❤Services: Nail polish changes

Solar Nails is a family business! So sweet to see a woman and the daughters she is so proud of leading an awesome business. They did my Mani Pedi for my wedding! I'm unusually hard on my nails, and they've really held up! They looked beautiful, I felt beautiful on my special day. Prices were super reasonable, service was great, everyone was so pleasant to me and all my bridesmaids. ❤️

I did not want the gel on my nails I just wanted regular polish applied to my filled nails. She kept telling me The gel last longer. For me regular polish last three weeks and I was happy with it and I could change my own color as I wish. She was very pushy and wanted me to get a gel polish and I was not happy at her being pushy with me.Service: Acrylic nails

Did a terrible job on both my daughter and me. Made her bleed she was ,12 years old. Mine hurt like hell had to pay 30 bucks to get them off immediately.

Clean salon with a great location. The owner is polite and friendly and can offer suggestions. I had acrylic fill-in which were thick and lasted 3 weeks, which is surprising as I clean a hospital. I also had my first pedicure which was incredibly relaxing and looks so good. Highly recommend this salon.

The girls are VERY sweet, but that's the extent of it. Didn't have to wait, and yet I spend 2.5 hours there for a basic full set with french manicure paint. I was very clear on the length, must've reiterated that five times, and still too long. No air brush, didn't stencil in any form, was a total mess. Five, yes five coats of white on the tips, never once letting a coat dry. It was clumped and horrendous looking. Base color of nail, a gaudy orange, applied after the white tips, leaving a very evident orange line. I've literally never seen anything like it. Only reason I didn't make a fuss was because I had already been there 2.5 hours, and simply didn't have the time. Had to redo the paint myself at home, very disappointing. Judy is one of the sweetest ladies ever. After wrecking my nails at other salons with full sets for years, she gave me other options to help grow out my natural nail length and I wouldn't want to go any other place now that I've been here. Her English is a bit broken, but she makes the funniest jokes and I love how personal every experience is. Her holiday designs are the cutest and the shop is extremely clean and beautiful. I came a few times as a walk-in but she prefers appointments. Love it here!!Services: Nail art

This nail salon was pretty good. They were very nice Woman with great prices. I got red nails for the holidays and they look amazing. They are acrylics and, they are an amazing shape. I just got a bateaux looking square shape and they are fabulous. I recommend, especially if you don’t want high prices.Service: Acrylic nails
