This place USED to be elite. Now, there's nothing of value in this place. Basically, it's all the trash that no one wants to buy. No authentic controllers or hardware except for exceptionally overpriced used consoles.

Overall I’ve had very positive experiences with Oogie games, however I’ve only been to this location recently, im assuming they have the same quality as the Niagara Falls Location, and I got a Wii U from this location recently and I love it, my original Wii U broke in 2015 and I finally have one again, works great too, but one gripe I have is their returns and trades, a few years back when Hey Pikmin originally came out I bought it at Oogie Niagara Falls and beat it the day I bought it (trash game btw), and so we went back the next day to return it but not only could we not get out money back they gave us 1/3 the price we paid in store credit, that’s why my review is 4 stars, overall I’ve had positive experiences but that one negative experience drops it to 4 for me.

If you are looking for good service, responsive staff and have your expectations met, look at a chain store. I’m sad about this because I do believe in supporting local businesses. This isn’t an Oogie-Boogie fun kind of place. Try and get a hold of them on the phone. They are extremely slow in turning around repairs. They don’t answer the phone, or return phone calls. We (amazingly) got one employee on the phone once…and he didn’t even want to tell us his name. I understand that some people are shy, but train your staff to cope with it, or maybe they should be let go. Also, their store looks as if no one took any pride or effort in designing it.

We've stopped at this store a few times. They have a hit-and-miss selection. Some consoles they have lots. Others very sparse. Every time we've shopped here, the staff couldn't have cared less that we were in the store. Very off putting, as most retro game shops are super friendly. The store is a bit dingy and could use a good cleaning. That said, we have found some cool titles here. One nice touch is a list of games with which consoles they are backward compatible with on the racks. Not our favorite shop, but worth checking out.

Nice game store. I always try to support places like this if I find them. Nice selection of games to help build your collection!

Usually come here, the last few times I've called they haven't answered their phones. It's currently 2pm on a Sunday, they're usually open and another customer was waiting with no answer to his call. Getting as bad as the Niagara Falls location

Sold me a game that was flat out broken. Put it in the console and it never loaded.Their store is in a location that is so hard to reach, and they have hours so hard to reach them that I have not been able to return it despite their 30-day return policy. Tried calling them during hours to see what I can do but they never picked up the phone. It's the final day so we'll see if I can get it returned, but I dont see myself coming back. The entire experience left me with a bitter feeling not just towards this store but the used game market as a whole.Which is completely opposite to the feelings I had back when the Niagara Falls location was still open. Only stopped going there because of the pandemic. I didn't like the location, but I went there because I had no other choice for "local" game stores despite how far away it was. I should of just embraced the digital area and just bought things off Steam or something.I'm just filled with dread over trying to get my money back over literally selling me worthless plastic just to tell me "no". It's not that far off from flat out thief. So hopefully they'll at least let me get something that actually works in exchange at the very least.Update: I was able to exchange it for a different game, they wouldnt let me just get my money back ... and that game also didn't work... I'm convinced they don't have a single working game in their entire store.

I visited 3/30/22. The guy when I walked in immediately greeted me and a couple friends and asked if we need anything. So that was nice, unfortunately after basically a year since not coming the place still looks terrible. There’s basically no games that are worth buying and you will be searching for a long time if you want to find a decent triple A game. I use to come all the time as a kid. Especially for 3-4 years every Wednesday when they did Pokémon club. Ever since around 2016-2017 is when this place went to hell unfortunately. I use to love going here and I’d always buy my new games from them when they actually used to get new games to sell. It’s terrible to see one of my favorite places as a kid look run down and basically empty shelves everywhere you looks except for games that have been there for almost over a decade that nobody wants. I hope they can revive the store somehow but I’m hoping it’s not to far fetched to say.

The game prices are not very reasonable. The store smells, and it was a mess, quite disgusting. We overheard from the employee that there is a warranty on the games that you buy, which is a plus.

We purchased a refurbished Xbox 360 and we’re told flat out that we had 30 to return it for a refund and we were lied to. I tried to return it 4 days later because it was so dirty with cat hair inside and smelled when we turned it on. They would not refund me. We will never do business here again and tell anyone how sneaky they are! And the store is dirty.
