They will take you for everything you haveI brought my ranchero there to get it finished and it somehow ended up being over 5k even though I put 4k in parts in it before I brought it to them. They pretty much threw a parts cannon covered in chrome and matte at itI JUST wanted running and driving. I was handling the aesthetics of the engine and car as I went. They routed my pcv into direct vacuum and my intake was choking on oil. They installed headers for 1k and my transmission no longer has a downshift linkage because of how they Fabricated the pipe. Didn't even give me the old lever back to modify it myself.I gave them over 5k and got a paperweight and depressionMade a popping noise. Most likely they didn't manually prime the engine and cooked the new lifters immediately by cranking it and cylinder 1 needed a single lifter so they said they would only do ALL of themDrove it down the road for maybe two miles. It broke down right outside tops down the road from them.Brought it back, Did the lifters for 1800. Didn't fix The problem for more than 50 miles. The new plugs they installed fouled less than 50 miles in.My brand new scorpion rocker arms are scuffed from being set wrongThey snapped my intake stud for my ignition coil off and tucked it in to hide it.They charged me over 100 for a 16in run of electrical tape and a ground that doesn't ground to anythingThe car broke down at 45mph on the nf Blvd and almost killed two people.Parked it and have been handling the small stuff that come with a 50 year old car until I'm able to actually have the money to fix what they didn't.I wasted every penny by bringing it to them as I now have to do it all again by myselfThey only offer a parts warranty not any of the labor behind it.They falsified my recepit too. They put that the cam was already broken in even though I specified over ten times that I needed my cam broken in.Them setting everything wrong resulted in ALL my piston rings detonating in an otherwise REALLY solid bored out 302Part of me wants to bring it to them to make it right but I'm worried they'd probably just find a way to wring me for another 5k even though they have crate engines for less than 10k.If you saw my engine I doubt you would see over 5k in labor and parts cost. INCLUDING the 4k I've put in.Super disappointed. I just want to drive my car. I heard such great things about them.Moral of the story: if you're not a chevy 350 guy, stay away. This is not a Mopar or fomco shop and upon looking at some of the recent reviews I'm not the only one left wanting more.Update: the owner reached out to me and offered to work something out but I'm still skeptical. Will update again if what he and I talked about comes to fruition.

Had a warranty dispute with the tire distributor. K-S Auto went out of their way to get me an accommodation. Fair pricing, and the work was delivered on time. Highly recommended.

Here is my story and I’m sticking to it. I have a 1994 Jeep Wrangler 2door. I wanted to have some frame repairs done (this is a typical problem with old Jeeps) and after their tech crawled under and over my vehicle for about 20 minutes he stated it would cost $800 to repair. As this was the best estimate I had received we set a date to bring it in. The estimates were between $800 and $1200 by the way. So I show up and drop my car off on the designated day and a hour and a half later I get a phone call saying the problem is more severe then first thought. They stated it would cost $6000 not $800. As I was not prepared to pay that much money I said I would pick up my car. When arriving at the shop I was told I owed $292 and change because that covered the time on the lift and the mechanics time. After negotiations that price dropped to $100. My argument is this, they made the estimate and I understand it is just that, an estimate. But $800 to $6000? That mistake should be on them not me. I did not want them to touch it after that. So I guess I’m just out the $100. Lesson learned get everything in writing including what happens when the repair is 8.5 times More then the original estimate. Beware of any dealings you have with these people…Service: Auto body & trim repair

First let me start off saying that the actual work done was mechanically done correctly. However, I had them change a differential on my Dodge Challenger and they ran into an issue with the driveshaft, which needed to be changed due to a bigger diff. Instead of finding the part and telling me how much it's gonna cost me to purchase a new driveshaft, he tells me I need to figure out something because he's never done what I am doing to a Challenger before. They finally find me a part after the one I found is cancelled due to back order. Then I tell him the vehicle needs to be tuned, he says he's never heard of such a thing. So they call me about a week later telling me my car is ready to be picked up. I drive out of the parking lot and the car is hesitant to move. It finally starts moving but will not shift out of second gear and my check engine light is on. I drive all the way home in second gear park the car and plug in the Diablo Tuner only to see they did not tune my vehicle. May do good mechanical work but if you're not a mechanic what you tell them is not valid.Service: Transmission

This place will make you homeless. Owning a retro car is fun, being raped with your wallet in your hand is obnoxious. Buy a Prius.

If you need a performance part they have a lot to choose from. Always a parking spot and it’s an easy store to find.

Called because I was missing to set up gears on my Jeep. They were helpful and had spare shims and such that they gave me that really helped me out. I didn't even have work done there and they were great.
