We've been using Gary Service for our vehicles for almost a decade now. The service is great, always polite and professional. Pricing always seems fair and honest. They move quick too, we are always pleased with how quickly their team works through whatever issue we drop off.

I took my vehicle to Gary's last Tues for a NYS inspection. The inspection went well but I noticed a scrape/large spot on my rear tailgate. It looked like someone opened the tailgate, hit something with it when it went up and then tried to buff it out and made it worse. There was rubbing compound stuck it the grooves by the taillight and tailgate next to the spot. I had a body shop guy look at it and he agreed.
I called Gary's and talked to Aaron (owner) explaining all. He denied this happening when my vehicle was there for a inspection and told me to "prove it". This damage was not there when I dropped the vehicle off and I saw it the next morning. I doubt there were gremlins in my garage using rubbing compound and buffing my car overnight. There is no other explanation how this damage occurred or who "tried " to fix it. It looks horrible and I am very upset. Do not take your vehicle to Gary's...if something happens there, he does not take responsibility for it...he just says "prove it".
*☆*☆*☆*Aaron responded that my husband had no knowledge of this problem..that is because he was out of town until today and I haven't had a chance to show him the damage. My car definitely did not leave the same condition it was when I dropped it off...Aaron needs to own up to this damage. He said he has cameras in the shop but has not reviewed them to see what happened. Enlarge the attached photo, you can see hundreds of scratches in the paint*☆*☆*☆*
☆■☆■☆■Addendum...I took my vehicle to a body shop today...they looked at the damage, worked on it and said there was a big nick which someone tried to sand out with 220 sandpaper (you can see scratches in photo attached) and then proceeded to apply clearcoat over it. How does a person have body work done on their vehicle without knowing about it unless it's done when the vehicle isn't in my possession. The only place my car has not been in my possession that this could of happened is Gary's Service. It's a shame they aren't owning up to it. Aaron called me again denying and said that he reviewed his camera...I'm not buying it. There is no other explanation for someone trying to cover up their screw up.☆■☆■☆■

Garys service is great, A really busy place so make sure you call ahead of time but Ian is always willing to work with you and your schedule. I work over nights and he always fits me in.
