Its 8:15 pm. I called at exactly 1:04 pm to talk with someone in the pharmacy. The call went to voice mail. I had no choice but to leave a message. Per the voicemail it was leave a message with name phone number and so on and someone will get right back to me. I was calling about my heart medication that is stating it’s ready. However it’s almost 500.00 dollars. What happened to my insurance? I have no clue. If you cannot talk to somebody on the phone you cannot get the issue resolved. How I wish I could go back to Tops. Insurance changed. I have no choice but to deal with this and I am not happy. Very very poor customer service.

Called the pharmacy and had my questions answered right away. Very friendly and helpful. Visited pharmacy drive through later. Fast and pleasant experience.

The CVS Pharmacy at 1717 Sheridan Drive is the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. My husband needed a script filled last Thursday for cough medicine. When I went to pick it up they failed to tell me that they did not have enough in stock and gave me enough for 1 dose! He is supposed to take 3 doses per day! The inside package said they would have it in stock on Monday, 4 days later! When I called this morning to see if it was in stock, they said there were sent the wrong stuff! She told me they would call other stores to check availability. Six hours later, no call back. I called the pharmacy AGAIN and was told they didn't have time to call other stores but they would give me the RX number and I could call MYSELF!!! I told her that was not acceptable as I have been waiting since Thursday for this script! She then told me to "CALM DOWN"!!!!! This store is a nightmare! I had another incidence with them last summer about their drive thru always being closed due to staffing shortages and them not answering the phones when you call. I spoke to the District Manager who told me that he had addressed this problem with the store......Obviously not! We only deal with CVS because our insurance makes us. How I wish we could go back to Rite Aid, where they provide real customer service!!

The people who work here are borderline retarded. Why does it take 2 hours to gather 3 medications? They have also screwed up several customers orders. Absolutely ridiculous. Do not go here

Absolutely done with this location. The pharmacy team are the most inept group of clowns around. They make up their own hours and rules. I've watched them on numerous occasions close the drive thru with a line of cars waiting. I don't give a flying lumpy fart about oh the pandemic or we are short staffed company wide. Either do you damn jobs to the best of your ability or get the hell out of the health field. They don't give one good god damn about the people they are serving. I wish it allowed me to give you bozos zero stars. GANG GANG... Walgreens for the win

Today was the last time I will utilize this pharmacy. Every time I go there they make you stand and wait until they are ready to recognize your presence. If a customer is taking up too much time with them, they don't call for backup for the customers in line. Tonight I asked a young blond girl if she could wait on me because I was running late for an appointment and she replied that the guy who was tied up with a customer who had a lot of issues would wait on me next. When I shook my head in frustration she said "we have a lot going on here, sir". With six staff members in the pharmacy how hard would it be to back up the single guy handling a line of customers? This is typical for this pharmacy so today will be my last.

This week I had the worst experience ever at a drugstore. I went into the pharmacy to pick up the remainder of a prescription that had been initially filled wrong. It's an antibiotic that my doctor wanted me on for 30 days due to post-Lyme syndrome. The pharmacist insisted that it was supposed to be 30 pills, not 30 days at 3/day (they only gave me 28 initially when it should have been 90). I told her that was not correct and she started raising her voice, saying that she spoke personally to the doctor and it was 30 pills. I tried to explain why I was going to be on it for so long, but she then got belligerent and began yelling at me (in front of all the others working in the pharmacy along with some customers). I will never use this pharmacy again and have asked my doctor to call the prescription in to a different pharmacy.

Unfortunately I needed to obtain a Covid test due to experiencing multiple but minimal symptoms. I looked on line to see where a test could be obtained. I was able to obtain the test at CVS on Sheridan near Delaware. Their testing process was quite simple and designed for minimal to no contact with others. After registering on line I was given a list of available times to choose from. I chose the next available time and then started to get regular emails and text messages reminding me and providing instructions. The instructions indicated to arrive and follow the instructions posted at my chosen CVS. I was also instructed not to enter the store. I arrived early but found no posted instructions. I waited in my car and looked on line for further information. Fortunately 20 minutes before my scheduled time I received a text with further instructions. I was directed to pull up to the drive through window. Upon reaching the window I was asked for information that would identify me as the person who signed up for the test. I was then provided a bag with everything needed for the test, which I was to perform on myself. The testing process was quite easy and the employee at the drive through walked me through each step. While slightly uncomfortable it wasn't painful. After obtaining the sample I was instructed to deposit it in a drop box just past the drive through. I was also provided a disinfecting wipe to use on any part of the box touched by me to prevent possible transmission to others. Now the waiting began. I took the test on the Friday before Thanksgiving, and while not having our usual large celebration our children still planned on attending. This was in limbo until my results were received. As of the afternoon before Thanksgiving it looked like my wife and I would be celebrating alone and in separate parts of the house. Fortunately at 5:30 PM I received a text telling me my results were available. They turned out negative and we were able to have a small family celebration. The process was easy and relatively painless. Signing up was easy. My only concerns are how long it took to get results and the lack of posted instructions in the parking lot. I couldn't find any locations with the rapid testing and it took a full 5 days to get my results. I'm grateful for my negative results and how easy the process was but would like to see a quicker results and clearer posting of instructions at the site. I could see someone entering the store even though instructed not to. If I need testing again and can't find rapid testing I would return to CVS.

The process of refilling prescriptions is not only time consuming but is overwhelming for staff and the customers. Staff is helpful but always overwhelmed. I wish they make their process better for a friendly and efficient customer experience.
