I recently had flooring put in my home in Williamsville. Bob and Leah were incredible to work with, beautiful job, fair pricing. I also had my carpet ripped out and I did not want to pay extra for the haul away because they have contracted installers that require of full clean after removing carpet. Simply put it the curb, called my town for large pick up and now my house is beautiful to entertain for the holidays. Merry Christmas ?

Poor Communication, no final receipt emailed or even called and told what it would be, stuck with carpet that could not be disposed of because they assumed my town did big garbage all the time-I would rather weave carpet of yarn by hand then over work with these people again. After all my expenses, it will have cost me 400 over my original quote due to a "hidden charge" as well as garbage disposal. I even tried to replace the issue with them, and they told me it was basically my problem not theirs. I did report them to my town for littering.

Had hardwood installed a few years back,it was perfect. Beautiful job. Installed perfect. Very happy.I had my bathroom and family room done this last summer. Horrible. Messy, cracked in bathroom. Not same person who installed. Cut floor on a bucket in my house with a very bad dull hand saw. My house is full of sawdust and floor is all chipped on cut ends. I called to complain but never heard back. Sloppy and unprofessional.

We were looking for new carpet and laminate floors. Shopped many places. This place..... well, I don't get it. We went with Outlet Carpet and Floors who we can't find here on Yelp to leave five stars for. Carpet Smart wanted us to put down a huge NON-refundable deposit before they would send someone out to measure. They wanted half of their "best" guess. NO. I am not giving you any money till I know the total real cost. Sales pitch was sloppy and tactless.

Bought some cheap flooring after i was told it was 12 mil. John lied to our faces & it was extremely flimsy & such a terrible product. When i went back to return a case i told him my issue & he proceeded to say " Well i don't want people like you coming back in this store" DON'T YOU WORRY BUD!Honestly trying to do the better thing by giving a local store business can bite ya in the rear. Home depot or Lowes it is next time. Terrible service!

The older guy is such a grouch. He’s unpleasant, abrupt, not helpful at all, and has NO customer service skills. If I treated customers (or potential customers) that way, I would be written up. I had to take many many online courses to learn the proper way to treat people. Apparently, this company doesn’t have those courses for the employees. I suggest if you go shopping for carpet, go elsewhere.

They make you pay a huge deposit before they will give you a written quote. Of course when the quote comes it is much higher and a longer time frame than verbally quoted. I asked for a refund as this was none of what I was expecting based on what they originally told me. They said they were keeping $100 (I assume I am paying for the opportunity to be lied to/ taken advantage of) and it has now been three weeks and I have not received the refund. The whole business model is a scam.

We purchased laminate flooring and carpet from Carpet Smart based on our previous positive experience with them. Our current experience in April 2022 was not the same. While their products are good quality and a reasonable price, their customer service is horrible, particularly John the manager. We have been trying for weeks to get a transition piece glued back down after it lifted it and he keeps blowing us off. Today marks the fifth time we have called and spoken to him and he continues to say "if you don't hear from someone call me back." He has horrible customer service skills: gruff, rude, and cut you off in mid-sentence. I do not recommend going to this store simply because their customer service is so horrible.

Couldn’t wait to do this review. I’m shocked at the pleasant experience I had with Carpet Smart from beginning to end! After a major flood in my basement, I wasn’t sure which way to go on flooring. Bob took his time, explaining options without any sales pressure. He was upfront with me about delays, before placing order, so I was shocked at how quickly the luxury vinyl tile came in. Next came Mike and son to install it. He gave me a date, and arrived promptly at 9am the first day, and 8:30am the second day. Once again, so pleasantly surprised that anyone today shows up on time. Work was done neatly and quickly. I would recommend Carpet Smart all day, and truly appreciate what was an extremely stressful event (the flooding) turned into a very easy fix. Now I need a painter! Hope I can find someone just as reliable!
