“I visited them to purchase a battery for my car. Liz was very knowledgeable about the correct battery and explained the way it was made and how it worked. I noticed they also offered jump starters. I requested information on one of them and she informed me it was too much battery for my car. It was a battery more suitable for a truck (I have a sedan) and cost prohibitive for my model. She suggested an alternative jumper at a more reasonable price and explained how it works and its benefits. AND they sell double A lithium batteries! I highly recommend them for all your battery needs and more. It was my 1st visit to them and it won’t be my last.”

“After attempting to restore my 2014 5 series at a local shop I had bee using for about a year, I decided to get the work done checked by Rick because I came to an understanding that the shop guy was incompetent when it came to the minute details of upgrading the parts. Rick's analysis of the shoddy work left me flabbergasted. As it was nearly $10,000 worth of parts in labor I paid for. Got it all refunded and had CIM Motorsports take the wheel. Rick and his team are diligent, professional as well as proficient. I had my axles, ignition coils, and bushings upgraded as well as all of my fluids and filters replaced so far. I'm quite pleased and plan on finishing all of the other upgrades at CIM Motorsports. Customer service and feedback as usual is stellar as I've been there a couple of times. They'll take good care of you and even more so, your vehicle.”

“This Mavis location is the absolute best. Led by the great Manager Kelvin, Kaliph & an amazing mechanic in Marcos. They were able to get my Honda Accord in immediately for a full brake job including calipers. They had my car done in a very reasonable amount of time & their prices were excellent. “I can't say enough nice things about Advantage Auto Repair. In a day where it's impossible to trust any mechanic or service station for fear of being ripped off, these guys have easily won me over. My teenage son was in a car accident and we had it towed to the nearest station which happened to be Advantage Auto Repair. First off, Stephanie at the front desk calmed me down, explained the process with insurance, what my options are (including bringing it anywhere I want), but before any of that, her first question was about the health of my son. (He's fine by the way). They talked my wife and I through what to do with the towtruck and that the car looked totaled. They took off the plates for us after the inspector came and held them for us until we were able to swing by and pick them up. They didn't charge us a penny, were increidbly communicative while we were there and days after, and we even tried giving them a $20 tip for their help, which they outright refused. Thank you, Advantage Auto Repair! Your kindness and help truly meant the world to us.”
“I don’t know where they found this angel, but this shop is definitely making miracles like the reviews say. I was driving my car at 7:30pm and it sounded like I had a flat. I stopped my car twice and saw no flat. The noise got worse and I started to panic. I googled mechanic and this shop came up as being open til 8pm. I thought this is definitely not real. With my hope in one hand and a prayer in the next, I drove there. I don’t even know if I parked the car before I jumped out and told the mechanic my car is broken and I can’t see how. He drops everything and immediately looks at my car and test drives it. All my rare wheel bolts were gone except one. I could have died! He was so kind and empathetic. He waited for my Lyft to come for me well beyond 8pm. You cannot ask for a better human experience and a kinder mechanic! My car less, will miss work, but feel calm knowing he has my back!”

“If you’re confused about the size mufflers that you should be getting for your car or aftermarket products for your car when it comes to exhaust the mufflers you should definitely speak to the shop the owner here knows what he’s doing. He knows what he’s talking about. He’s not gonna put something on your car. That’s gonna look stupid, and I trust his opinion when it comes to mufflers and any type of exhaust.”

“I have known Bruce and Jeffrey for many years now and each time you go to the shop for car repairs or oil changes, Bruce always has a smile and will sing you a song or two and give you history lessons if you have the time. Bruce is an excellent, honest mechanic and will go out of his way to help you if you ever need him. Jeffrey is a great mechanic who can educate you on motors and transmissions if you want to learn. But all in all this is a five star automotive repair shop and you won't be disappointed by going there to get your car worked on or just serviced!!”
