The two people at the front desk were absolutely amazing very helpful and we’re able to provide in my mail that was imperative that I receive it accidentally went from Monroe to Herriman and they had it and they were very polite kind and I give them five stars just wanted to say it’s also very clean and nice in there. The staff was great.”
“The post office located in West Haverstraw, NY gives exceptional customer service. The young man of Indian descent with short black hair, is dedicated, reliable, very friendly, professional, helpful and gorgeous.”
“I had to come do a review because folks tend to review only with bad experiences and not good ones. I come to this post office because it's close to us, closes at 3 on Saturdays, and the folks behind the desk are so helpful and nice. Never have had an issue and I've had service by different personnel. I like this over any other post office in Rockland... especially palisades mall where one person in particular is rude and miserable.”

“Great little post office. Never a line and Joe is always super friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile for you. I had to send a package that didn't quite fit in the standard box and he took the time and effort to bend, fold and tape it all together so I could send it. Way more than he needed to do!”
“I’ve been coming here for a while now. The counter people are super nice. The rest…. We’ll USPS is my last choice with any packages. They lie and pass the buck with the worst of them. I sent an overnight package cross country and the carrier ON VIDEO went to the door, looked around and left. No notice, knock or doorbell. The same carrier came back the next morning, signed my clients name (incorrectly) and dropped it in the mail box. They denied me a refund with no explanation. I have the cure… it’s ongoing ???”
“I use this post office regularly for my business for the last several years and never had any problems. I find the staff friendly, personable, hard working, and efficient. Every now and then they go beyond the call of duty for me and I appreciate it. Keep up the good work!”
“The women who work here are the kindest and most patient employees I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with at a post office. I will never use my local post offices again because this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. They helped me use up old postage I ordered incorrectly so I could mail several packages without wasting it or buying new stamps. They were patient and kind and pleasant with everyone. We had a lovely conversation while they helped me and I honestly can’t say enough nice things. Best post office in the COUNTY!!! Thank you and muita obgridada a meu amiga nova, who even practiced Portuguese with me! ❤️❤️”
“Everyone is always pleasant and courteous. Post offices have a bad rep sometimes but I find this one stress free and easy. I don’t really get the negative reviews. Sometimes packages get lost because it goes through a huge system after it leaves the local branch. I wouldn’t blame them for that.”

“I came here to confirm business hours so I could run errands and am sorry to see the reviews. I’m leaving this five star review here for all the folks who, like me, get mail sent and received on schedule, regularly. This isn’t a restaurant or a hotel or a gentrification haven - nor should it be reviewed as such. Everyone there seems to be working efficiently in a time where there are more packages than ever, but no budget expansion and few upgrades.
Also, I have never once been harassed there by folks standing around; loitering is a racist concept and the descriptions of harassment in some reviews illustrate why. Observing folks hang out might create certain feelings in your body, but folks don’t deserve to be removed from a sidewalk because you’re experiencing feelings.”

“(New review ) things have changed for the better with the new postmaster so I’m giving it a four star instead of a one star.
(old review) I live in Airmont, NY 10952. The nearest post office to me is TALLMAN, NY 10982 PO. The lady clerk was very lazy and rude. She complained that I had made her carry the box from the counter to the back of the PO, which was about 7 feet. She told me next time, she will not accept my packages because I live in a different area code, and she only gets paid for packages from the same area code(which is, of course, a total lie. She gets paid a paycheck and not how many packages they get) if you have the same bad experience, please file a complaint and the USPS website”

“These guys work hard! Day in day out. Has the pandemic taught us nothing? Have some patience, be polite, be respectful to others and you will get treated with respect. These people complain about the littlest of things. I’ve seen people talk down to and abuse the staff that works there. If someone comes into your place of business/ work and disrespects you(bad reviews) how would you handle it? Exactly. Stop being disrespectful towards the staff there due to the color or their skin. Stop using your privilege to justify your infantile behavior. For the life of GOD these people worked day in and day out during the pandemic.
