Quite let down. Room bathroom floor dirty and never cleaned my 3 days there, noisy housekeeping staff, great location. Awesome for work events maybe, but not for personal stays. No free wifi, TV in and out of Internet connection, ancient coffee maker in room.

They did refurb. Raised room rates to insane nightly price. New lobby bar dining area was cold and unwelcoming. Way overpriced for food that was ok at best and cocktail price way too high . Will not be going back to this location again. Staff was ok at best. Room was comfortable and clean.
I am sure this hotel will do well because of location but I will stay somewhere else in the future.

Very nice, very updated, clean hotel!
The hotel has clearly been recently updated. The carpets, furniture, etc was all new.
The breakfast buffet is nice, but I’ve been staying at Marriotts for the last 2 weeks and all of the breakfast buffets were included in our room. This one was $25. It’s all you can eat, so it’s still a good deal. We had a voucher for a free breakfast on the first day because we’re Titanium level. The second day we ordered off the
Menu. I had an omelette and it was delicious! My husband got the all American breakfast and it was very big. He couldn’t finish it. Our waitress, Tania, was amazing! What a wonderful employee they have. She was so helpful, kind, and caring. We felt truly taken care of! She’s the kind of employee who makes a person’s stay a positive experience.
They have a wonderful courtyard in the front of the hotel, that’s beautifully decorated. It was outdoor heaters too.
Sleepy Hollow is only 2 miles away! We actually had no idea when we booked the hotel, but we spent an entire day there walking around. It was very busy as it was just a few days before Halloween.
A couple of things management should be aware of. There are some broken tiles in the hallway (safety hazard). There’s also a tile falling from the wall in the women’s restroom by the lobby that’s been taped up. One of only 3 stalls in the women’s restroom was not working. Two of the three sinks in the men’s restroom weren’t working.
I highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area. Great value for the area.
Nearby activities: Sleepy Hallow is only 2 miles away!

This is a great hotel. There is an on-site restaurant, gym, and m lounge. Although I was notified when I checked in, the hotel was without water for several hours during my stay. The M lounge was also under construction and had been moved to a corridor on the first floor. The restaurant staff was friendly and the food was great. Parking is free and them have EV charging stations in the parking lot.

Unacceptable Treatment and False Accusations by Marriott Staff
I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the treatment my husband and I received at your property on October 21, 2024. We are loyal Marriott customers and I am also an employee of The Ritz-Carlton, part of the Marriott family, which makes this situation particularly troubling.
At 9:00 AM, while we were in the process of booking our next room, we briefly pulled over in your parking lot. The day before, we had parked in the same spot, and while management approached us then to access containers near our vehicle, they did not ask us to leave or inform us that parking there was prohibited. However, today, without warning or justification, management called the police and falsely claimed we were previously told not to park in the lot. We were then informed that we were banned from the premises.
There is no signage indicating that parking in the lot is prohibited, and this escalation was completely unnecessary, especially as paying customers who have supported your business on numerous occasions. The dishonesty displayed by your staff and the resulting distress are unacceptable. I expect someone to be held accountable for this treatment, and I urge you to address this situation promptly to prevent it from happening to other guests in the future.

Loud a/c unit and noisy neighbors. Neighbors aren’t the hotel’s fault though.

I think that our mistake was assuming when you stay at a Marriot you will receive a certain kind of (quality) product - but I don't think we will be going back to this location.
The walls are paper thin - we heard everyone coming and going from the elevator all night. The beds are NOT comfortable and the pillows were lumpy. The room had a funny smell. Our window looked out over an indoor events area, so the lighting was poor and opening the window did not give any fresh air. There was no natural light in the room.
I regret giving this hotel my money. I won't do it again.

Staff’s response is almost good, not good enough. I felt this hotel is bad for the payment. It costed Wifi fee even if I’m a member of this hotel. And reimbursement is very slow. They said it depends on the card company’s response, but I received such kind of reimbursement ASAP when the hotel staff proceeded. It’s was so bad I have never experienced this kind of grade hotels.
Added on 13Oct:
When I checked out this hotel, hotel staff never explained when I receive my deposit money even if hotel got almost 550 USD. I cannot confirm how much this hotel deposited by me. When I stayed Hyatt, Hilton, Sheraton before, all hotels stated the deposited price and explained when it returns. I will escalate this issue for my company lawyer if I will not receive my deposit by 14Oct.

WARNING NO FREE WIFI FOR YOUR 400 DOLLAR NIGHT STAY SMH. Unfortunately this was my first and last time staying at a Marriott. Decent Customer service is nonexistence in this place. Honestly everywhere in sleepy hallow/tarrytown people had some stick up their butt. Not a tourist friendly location for sure. The 25 dollar Breakfest buffet is not included for your 400 dollar a night stay ?free coffee is also non existent. Everything about this hotel screamed I want all your money for no legitimate reason.

Not worth the price they charge...
Cons: The rooms were nice enough; however, the WiFi (if you're not paying for it) is as slow as molasses, the mini fridge is more of a cooler that has a button you press to make it cold, but only lasts 2 hours at a time, no swimming pool which is a bummer, the spa was a disappointment (over priced massage and the massage therapist was underwhelming - left them a separate review), the walls were pretty thin, and if you stay on the atrium side be prepared for echoing noise, and there's no continental breakfast (and what they charge for their breakfast options was egregious).
Pros: room was clean, service was prompt when we needed anything, staff was friendly, easy location with food nearby.
Overall, I wouldn't come back based on the price, lack of pool/mini fridge, and noise factors.
