I haven’t reviewed a shop in years, let alone negatively. First impression was that it was far too crowded, even with just 3 other patrons. I picked out a refurbished CD and went up to the shop owner, no counter just a back area with un-purchasable clutter. After 5 minutes of standing there she acknowledged me. She asked if I can wait and then i stood there for 10 minutes while she looked around for something and texted. I finally asked if i could just pay, for i had exact change in my hand. She snatched the cd from me and scratched off the sticker while telling me it was wrong, and that the price was $10 extra dollars. I’d never go back here again. Overpriced and time consuming.

Ona and her store are the true gems of Tarrytown! I was walking down Main Street and was pleasantly surprised that this gift shop offers truly unique and fair trade items from all over the world. I enjoyed chatting with Ona, who clearly adores her store, as she tells the backstory for the items she has curated. I am visiting from out of town, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to buy birthday gifts for all of my family and friends for the next year! You will not be disappointed visiting here!

If you are tired of the insecure, plastic posh of Manhattan/Brooklyn, embrace yourself in the wonderland of Ona. A true tastemaker and visionary merchant with the heart of a child and a fountain of knowledge and humor. Her curation touches my heart without the utterance of a word. You could see her passion and curiosity poured through the meticulous selection of handcrafted goods around the world. It's really a treat and I'm sure something in Ona's store will bring a smile to your face and bring forth warm memories of the more innocent past. This is an amazing store! It's a perfect place to get unique gifts and even a unique something for yourself! It's obvious that the owner hand pics every single item and they're all wonderful in their own ways. Do yourself a favor and go to the store. You will be amazed at the variety of wonderful things for sale here!

Love this store! So many items here that make great gifts that you won't find anywhere else. Artistic, handmade, fair trade, creative, for old and young. Clothing, scarves, jewelry, toys, figures, animal items , beautiful & charming things and something for everyone. Their photos do not capture the variety and fun of all you'll find. Wonderful store!!
