“Think of River View as your friendly neighborhood wine store. Place is decently sized with a skew more towards wine than liquor. It's also catty-corner from a parking lot which is damned convenient. My favorite part about it is the owner; he's always there, knows his stuff, and is a genuinely nice guy; if I had a nickel for every rude person working in a liquor store, I'd have a f*** of a lot of nickels. Prices are very reasonable too, especially for a place paying rent on Main St. Main drawback here is that the selection could be a bit better. They are more focused on curating a good list of alcohol options than a large list of alcohol options. If you come here expecting a massive selection you'll be disappointed, however if you just come with a general idea of what you want/asking for a recommendation, you will be happy.”
“My favorite local bottle shop with truly lovely and knowledgeable staff. Every time I go in, I am delighted, and end up with a new and interesting recommendation.”
“One of My Favorite stores the staff can give great recommendations based on what you like. I am not a married to names or a particular vineyard or distillery life is about variety so just ask and you may find a gem you like better than your Usual CHEERS!!!”
“The lamb ragu pappardelle pasta was fantastic but the burger was very average. Very kind staff and a nice outdoor patio. Prices are absurd for a pretty casual place outside NYC. Restaurant and bathroom fully wheelchair accessible..”
“Amazing customer service. The owner personally delivered the gift (excellent recommendations from the store) to my friends that I wanted them to have for their dinner tonight. Thank you. You made me and my friends so happy”
