“Searched to check the hours, and saw that it had only one review - a rather negative one. Thought I'd balance it out. I've been here many times. Always found them to be very patient and helpful. The hardware store always has what I need. I used the lumber yard for a deck, with no issues. The prior review complained about handyman references. This is the Catskills. I've gone through roughly a dozen folks here. They all came recommended. They all were a huge disappointment - some after a few jobs, some after one. I've learned never to pay half up front without references, and I've posted to social media those folks who take half up front and disappear. Sadly, it has happened a couple of times. It's not the fault of the establishment thst recommended them.”
“Windham Hardware reminds me of the old fashioned small hardware store I grew up with. Wide variety of hardware needs with a knowledgeable staff that can give you a help. They will probably ask if you need help before you ask them! When I need something I start here....”

“Ace is the place! Literally. The only place up here haha. That being said the staff could be surely and the store could be in disarray but it’s quite the opposite. Super dooper friendly and extra helpful staff both in the store and in the yard and the hardware section is on point. 5 real stars. While they don’t have everything Home Depot has down the mountain they have just about everything you’ll need to get er done. A++”
