Been going to this gym since 2020 and I love going here. The coaches are great and the people there are great too. Very good place to start if you want to get into CrossFit. Even if you're not into CrossFit it's a great place to meet new people and get a good workout in!

I’ve gone to a few drop ins at Urban Life Athletics since I live out of town and I will say that this is a great gym. I would definitely come here if I lived in the area. I’ve done ‘U-Fit’ workouts like what Urban Life Athletics offers for 15 years or so now; definitely recommend it to anyone in the area. Also, Megan is super nice you couldn’t have a better coach.

Excellent gym for drop-ins and the culture was very supportive. Highly recommend for anyone in time. Morning classes run on time in case you’re in a rush, clean restrooms, working water fountain, coaching was very good, and programming felt very balanced.

Coach Murph is great, always good energy in the room. Workouts are challenging and can be scaled down if needed. Plenty of class time options are available.

I've been going here for a little over half a year now and can't get enough of it. Megan has been great working with me when I started with an injury and frankly barely able to do much, the perfect amount of push and motivation has me in a totally different spot from back in November and I still feel challenged every day. The group as a whole is super supportive. From new folks to obvious veterans they'll all be cheering you to the finish line, screaming great job and keep it up as you push to the end. I never imagined being the guy that woke up excited to see my little gym group, but here I am. From day one I felt welcome and included, and I think that's what makes this space so great. The spin classes with Allie, Amber and Heather have been a great addition for me as well, comparatively to my peloton my Apple Watch always reads a stronger workout with them. I do more classes here than I do home for that reason alone. If I had to find a complaint, it would be that I bought a peloton and haven't cancelled my other traditional gym membership long before hand.

I've been to SoulCycle in Miami, I've been to Swerve in NYC, I've been to FlyWheel in North Carolina, but NONE of them compare to Urban Life Athletics. ULA has a dark room called the Boom Boom Room with mirrors in the front of it, a small stage platform for the instructor, bike metrics, two tv monitors, 21 bikes, complimentary shoe rental & sweat towel and a killer speaker system. Not to mention ULA has the best instructors with GREAT taste in music and a very hard class. I've gone everyday before branching out to their crossfit for about two years and every class was different but every class had the same high addicting energy. Soulcycle is too crowded like you literally feel like the bikes are on top of each other. Swerve had a big room and not many people in it so it was hard to get the energy I craved. Flywheel was good but it was not ULA. You grow close to the instructors after going to their classes and you become an animal. There are bike metrics so you do sprints and timed miles. They also incorporate partner cycles which is so much fun and really pushes you do work harder! I usually burn 600+ calories per class (according to my apple watch & I've tried my polar watch with the heart rate band around my chest). The class will leave you waddling for days! Highly recommend. Once you go to spin here you won't be able to go back to your chain gym spin classes.
