Good luck trying to cancel with Mood Media. I cancelled one year ago which I had to jump hoops to do, now one year later they are billing me $1,200 for the past year of non-payment! Luckily I kept the emails showing I had cancelled but I have a feeling it won't go well. Do not use them!

Attention all small business owners! Avoid this company like the black plague. We signed a month to month contract with this company, after a month of hardware issues, we called to cancel. The customer service rep over the phone confirmed nil need to cancel since this was a month-to-month contract. A year later, we get an email stating we have been delinquent in a year's worth of payments, and the company was seeking backpay for a whole year of "missed" payments. Immediately called customer service on the phone, and told them we cancelled a year ago, and they must have been mistaken. Long story short, had to get BBB involved in order to get resolved. This company uses shady tactics to try to take advantage of small business owners. AVOID, you have been warned!

The comment by Michelle C. is so fake. Mood media is the worst company to deal with and it seems like they're intentionally scamming their customers by slowing down and mixing up their operations, then having the customers pay for it. Basically, they know they suck so they make it really hard for customers to leave. Their customer service is so terrible. None of the reps ever sounded happy and they have poor phone etiquette. They respond with an attitude, like you've offended them by asking them to do their job. I don't trust their payments/collections/accounting department because of the complications that arose with my payments. For some reason, they don't process Amex. They take only master and visa. I was transferred to a handful of different customer service reps to solve something that should've been simple. In the end, the last one hung up on me. I'm in the process of cancellation and it is difficult. I am so fascinated by how bad the company is that I read indeed reviews by past employees. All the past employees hate the company as much as Mood customers. I'm not sure how Mood is still around, given what I've experienced. I only wish the worst for this company. JUST USE SPOTIFY!

This is by far the worst company on earth. The customer service is appalling. I have spent countless hours trying to resolve an issue with one of our players and literally am taken down a dark rabbit hole.

Wish I could give them zero stars. If you are considering using this service, save yourself the money and get a $10.99 a month subscription to Spotify instead and choose from thousands of playlists. Had a contract with them since 2009, just canceled it because over 12 years they raised the monthly fee to over $80. Total ripoff. Then I cancelled and they said I had to pay one extra month, as if the tens of thousands of dollars they've gotten over the years hasn't been enough.

Very bad service. It takes a week for one service call and then they need to return because they do not have the parts with them.. They also prioritize there service on how much money they will make. I would recommend AAA sound over this company any day.

I can not express how terrible my experience with Mood Music has been. I am 49 years old and have owned three businesses dealing with hundreds of companies. I have never in my life not paid a single bill. My credit history and score reflect this. This is by far the single worst customer service experience of my life. To make a long story short. I had an unresolved customer service complaint for 6 months from Oct 2019 through April 2020 all along contacting Mood Media seeking resolution. The entire time I paid my monthly bill for a music box and service that did not work. I knew I was under contract for 6 more months. After April 2020 I figured this would all be over and I would move on. MY GOD WAS I WRONG! At then end of this six month period they auto renewed my contract without my consent. They had never fixed my broken box NOR did they address my serious complaint about one of their service technicians. When I did not pay the monthly fees on the un-authorized renewal, they sent me to collections! For a contract I did NOT sign for a music box that has not worked in over a YEAR! THE BEST PART IS WE ARE A SMALL SINGLE LOCATION FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS THAT IS ON THE VERGE OF GOING UNDER BECAUSE WE WERE FORCED TO BE CLOSED FOR 4 MONTHS DUE TO COVID-19 AND 4 OF THE MONTHS WE GOT SENT TO COLLECTIONS OVER ARE MONTHS WE WERE CLOSED!!! The collections company was threatening litigation and legal expenses unless I paid in full. So today....... 11/18/20 I paid in full for my un-authorized contract, including the months we were forced closed due to covid-19, for a music service I could not use even if I wanted to because the box I have is BROKEN and has been for over a year. I am not sure if anyone from Mood Media will ever read this, but through my numerous attempted contacts I have spoken with customer service reps who answered the phone after hours on hold only to issue me internal customer service "ticket numbers" for follow up. NO EVER FOLLOWS UP! When you call in again, you sit on hold forever just to get a NEW ticket number!!! In case there is a person at Mood Media with a soul or an ethical bone in their body, here are my "ticket numbers" 191-111-001-434. 200-129-001-386. 200-821-001 Can I please get my money back for my unauthorized contract that has a broken box while being charged for months we were forced to close due to a pandemic? If you are a small single location family owned business, I would NEVER recommend this company. EVER!

RUN don't WALK away any idea of working with this group. Scam of company, will never call you back once contract signed. Fake address in TX based out of a foreign country overseas. Mood is well deserving of their poor rating they work hard at doing nothing to assist their customers. The adage you get what you pay for holds true in this case, in Moods case you get nothing. You will regret the day you decide to sign a contract. You will get roped into a fine print scam. Be prepared to have your company attorneys on speed dial.

I have many franchise locations and am very humble, unless I feel I am being taken advantage of. I cancelled my contract with this company due to poor service. I fulfilled my 2 year obligation, and called to cancel. Mood Media kept billing me. I called several times to advise that I cancelled. Long story short, they will send collection attorneys and charge late fees to get money that does not even belong to them. If you sign with this company DONT. They have small print disclaimers. When you call to try to figure out your status, most of their staff isn't pleasant and aren't able to assist you and you are unable to speak to anyone higher up. I had 2 staff members hang up on me. Exhausted...!I was trying to figure out why I was being billed AFTER my contract obligation. Bad Company values!

We use Mood Media at our Metro Fitness East Club in Fayetteville. Our members and staff really enjoy the variety of music channels and I appreciate the service if we need help. Great company to do business with, I recommend them highly!

In our business we deal with many clients who must comply with certain privacy regulations (like medical practices with HIPPA) and Mood Media's white noise/noise dampening services are a great solution to helping our clients stay compliant with those regulations.
